When you move to a small town, it’s so important to get out and participate in everything you can… meet your neighbors, shop small, and celebrate what makes your small town great!
•
While Mario and Kieran were out of town, mommy and Poppy had a full day to celebrate Rutherford starting with “Rutherford day” where we got to say hello to lots of our favorite small businesses and friends in the town green space and then ended the evening at the community bbq hosted by @allstatedanmeredithrutherford and the @rutherfordchamber.
•
While I say hello to everyone, walking down the sidewalk, I’m actually quite shy and larger events like the community bbq take a lot of courage for me to go to, but I’m always happy that I went, after the fact. Poppy danced her heart out, to @kurtandmarty band, and even warmed up enough to dance with new friends.
•
Now she’s snuggled up next to me, drifting off to sleep, and I’m thinking about how thankful I am that my kiddos will grow up in a small town, just like I did!

HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE 😍

So it’s a rainy start to the week. No Big Deal!
A rainy day has many positive reasons to be the perfect way to start the new work week💕☔️💕

* Rainy days bring cleaner air, soothing sounds, and nature renewal.

* Rain washes away dust, pollen, and pollution from the sky.

* Falling drops create negative ions that can lower stress and boost your energy.

* The steady sound of rain helps the brain relax.

*Wet soil creates a pleasant, earthy scent called petrichor that triggers happy memories.

* Rain gives vital water to crops, trees, and flowers to help them grow.

* Many creatures like frogs, earthworms, and birds become much more active.

* Staying inside during a storm makes your home feel extra safe and warm.

Enjoy This Beautiful Monday Morning Everyone☔️❤️

For over 140 of our nation’s 250 years, we have proudly symbolized our declaration of independence, abolition of slavery, and universal ideals of freedom, democracy, human rights, and opportunity to the world. Serving as a global beacon of welcome, the Statue of Liberty (Liberty Enlightening the World) represents the very essence of what our freedom experiment has produced. This statue is not 250 years old, but is who we became and this should never be reconsidered. We are the world and the world is us.

Happy Birthday America🎉💕🇺🇸🌎💕🎉
