Guess who’s back next Monday?

I know, I know. It’s been a minute. You haven’t seen me at the studio teaching and you haven’t seen me flowing.

But I’m back, and I fully intend on kicking your butt just like always.

See ya Monday !

Update: I’ve contracted the highly popular flu, so I won’t be leading these classes. I’ll be back with all my heart and stuff soon.

The thing about yoga, is showing up. It’s not always easy to be on the mat, or to lead.
I lead classes from my heart, no script ever and when I challenge myself to stay completely present with you, and lead with an open heart, especially when my heart is hurting, it shows me how powerful it really is to show up for each other.
Hope to see you, Thursday 9:30 @allumayoga and Saturday 9:00 am. Thank you, you mean so much, and I hope I can be of service to you in this way.

It is the season for beginnings and endings. This sacred time, when the darkness & light have their moment of equality & the year changes to a new number can be a powerful time for harnessing the group energy of transformation.

This year marks 19 years of listening to teachers ask about intention. It always feels a little off, so I decided to research the Sanskrit translation of the word. Sanskrit, one of the oldest languages in the world, Sankalpa is the word often translated to intention.

In Sanskrit, words are made up of root words.

Sanskrit is like math, the root words add up to one great sum, or like painting a picture, where all the colors, root words, come together to create something new.

Sankalpa can be broken down into:
san & kalpa.

Translation:

San~ being

Kalpa~creation,
in one day or Lord Brahmā.

Brahmā is the builder aspect of Great Spirit.
We don’t set an intention, we become intention through our thoughts, being and creatively building each day, moment by moment, breath by breath.

What are you creating in and through your being?

This Is how we refine our impact and inner state of being, by creating moment by moment, through our relationship with Spirit, Self and Others.
