POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

#MeetMeAtTheBar is officially in the books and we are still riding that high from this past weekend!🤩

PRs were hit, milestones were achieved, and previous limits were broken as we had a record setting 88 athletes across 22 teams come join us at CrossFit 2.2 to take on some gruesome tests programmed by our very own Josué‼️

We are extremely honored to host the very first CrossFit competition for a number of individuals who competed and are grateful to see a number of seasoned vets come back to the bar to put their fitness to the test yet again🔥

Again, none of this would have been possible without the time and effort donated by our volunteers so THANK YOU for continuing to raise the bar and making this such a special event every year👏🏼

Lastly, a huge shoutout to the fittest photographer in the business, @reece_peece for the hours and hours spent capturing all the highs and the lows from the competition📸

We are working hard to get all the photos uploaded to our website as soon as possible so stay tuned and we’ll notify you when they are available!

Still on the fence about trying the Kilo Hybrid event? Check out some great feedback we received from a few athletes who participated in the previous race🤩

“I had a great time at the Kilo Hybrid event! It was both fun and challenging, and the supportive coaches and volunteers made the experience even better. It was a great opportunity to practice every station, push myself, and see where I can improve. I’d definitely recommend the event to anyone looking to prepare for their next race. Or to anyone who is just looking for a new challenge to take on!”-Leah

“Hybrid was such an incredible experience! It challenged me physically and mentally, but the energy and atmosphere made it so much fun. I loved the combination of running and functional fitness—it pushed me outside of my comfort zone and left me feeling accomplished and motivated. I’d absolutely recommend giving hybrid a try. It’s challenging, rewarding, and an experience you won’t forget!”-Marcia

“The Kilo Hybrid event was so much fun! From the 10-minute stagger times to the staff guiding you through the entire event, it felt very organized and professional. I’ll definitely be doing it again!”-Ally

A message I’d give my younger self:

SLOW DOWN.

What you’re chasing will come but remember to celebrate where you are.

The journey isn’t worth anything if you’re always in such a hurry to move on.

The relationships and the conversations are what’s valuable.

Sit in your happiness, frustration, sadness, anger, joy, and all your other emotions a bit longer.

No need to brush them off.

You’re going to get where you want to go because the work is being done - but once you’re there - then what?

Slow down. Trust the process.

You think being in a hurry gets you where you want to be faster - but it doesn’t.

You’ll get there when you’re ready.

The destination isn’t the point.

Make sure to take it all in along the way.

You’ll one day wish you could go back.

And remember that feeling is true for today as well.

Slow down.
