I’ve been going to @converge shows for over 20 years, and nothing tops those back-to-back shows at @saintvitusbar in 2017.

Both Converge and Saint Vitus have had a huge impact on me over the years, so I was beyond excited to tattoo these pieces inspired by the flyer for their upcoming show this Sunday. And special thanks to @everblacktattoostudio for accommodating us last minute!

See y’all at the gig.

📍Carne Mare, NYC 🇺🇸

Carne Mare is an Italian chophouse in New York City.

When my friends and I visited we tried their 12 oz Gorgonzola Cure Wagyu Strip-loin and really loved it!

The Gorgonzola-Cured Wagyu Wow:
🥩🧀 If you thought Wagyu couldn’t get any better, think again! Carne Mare’s 12 oz Gorgonzola-cured Wagyu Strip-loin is a meat masterpiece that will leave you craving more.

Picture this: A perfectly marbled, buttery Wagyu steak, cured with rich Gorgonzola, and grilled to perfection. Each bite is an explosion of flavor.

It’s the perfect harmony of cheesy and beefy flavor, and it’s utterly unforgettable.

Priced at $135. My friends and I shared this.

Carne Mare, the Italian chophouse in New York City, is a culinary experience that will have your taste buds dancing. From their tantalizing tomahawk steak to the exquisite gorgonzola-cured Wagyu, this place is a carnivore’s nirvana.

When my friends and I visited we tried their 40 oz 30 day dry-aged Tomahawk steak and really loved it!

Tomahawk thoughts and impressions:

🥩🔪 Prepare for a meaty masterpiece that’s as impressive as it is delicious. The 40 oz 30 day dry-aged Tomahawk steak at Carne Mare is a carnivore’s pièce de résistance.

It is a colossal tomahawk cooked to perfection. This is a steak that could put a smile on a T-Rex’s face!

Juicy, succulent, and seasoned to savory perfection, this cut is so tender it practically melts in your mouth.

10/10 recommend.

Priced at $190 it is recommended you share with a friend(s).

📍Carne Mare, Manhattan, NYC 🇺🇸

Carne Mare is an Italian chophouse by Chef Andrew Carmellini offering prime cuts of steak, seafood, and Italian specialties.

They are located at 89 South St, New York, NY 10038 on Pier 17. Closest to the Fulton subway station in downtown Manhattan.

When I visited with a group of friends we tried the “Baked Spumoni” that was flambéed table side and we really loved the taste and the presentation.

Thoughts & Impressions:

The Baked Spumoni is prepared tableside, making it a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. When the flames dance around this delightful treat, you’ll feel like you’re in the front row of a dessert fireworks display.

This Baked Spumoni is a love letter to Italian flavors. Picture a luscious combination of rich pistachio, sweet cherry, and decadent chocolate ice cream served in a way that’s unique and exciting. The meringue is delightfully toasted and charred. It tastes just like a perfect campfire marshmallow.

So, If you’re in the mood for a dessert experience that’s not just sweet but also seriously exciting, Carne Mare in NYC has the perfect grand finale – the Baked Spumoni.

Priced at $30, this dessert is worth every penny for the unforgettable show and the delectable flavors it delivers.
