september. 🤍

this month was good and hard all at once.

I lost someone from my skating family, and grief has a way of making you look at things you maybe would have rather left untouched.

the truth is, things weren’t how i wish they had been before she left. life happened. relationships got complicated. time passed. and then suddenly there wasn’t more time.

that has impacted me more than i expected. because at the end of the day, being right doesn’t matter nearly as much as we think it does. neither does pride, misunderstanding or distance. what matters is how we loved people, how we treated them and what we left in their hearts.

losing her also brought me back to my skating family, and in the middle of something so sad, i was reminded of just how blessed i was to grow up with these people.

we trained together, competed against each other, pushed each other, celebrated each other and learned really young how to lose, get back up and keep going. i didn’t realize then how much those years were preparing me for life. the discipline, resilience, loyalty and work ethic i learned there have carried me through so much.

and now, decades later, one of the most beautiful things is seeing who everyone became. when one of us wins, we genuinely want them to win. when someone is hurting, we show up.

in a world where putting yourself out there can feel like giving people an invitation to judge you, i’ve realized how rare it is to have people who genuinely clap when you win. people who don’t need your light to be dimmer for theirs to shine brighter.

those are the people i want to be. and those are the people i want around me.

september reminded me that life is too short to leave important things unsaid. love people well while you have them. make things right when you can. celebrate people loudly. and never take for granted the people God placed along the way.

some months give you memories. some months change you.

september did both. 🤍

There is something so powerful when mothers and daughters gather in the same room.

A room where we get to pray for the generations coming after us, love on them, speak life over them, and choose to connect, heal, and unite around Jesus.

I love this room ❤️

A room filled with daughters of God, girls, women yielding to Him, hungry for more of Him, and believing that what He is doing in us is not just for us, but for the generations that come after us!!!

This is what the Kingdom looks like.
Generations standing together.
Hearts surrendered to Jesus.
Mothers covering daughters.
Daughters rising.
And a legacy of faith being built in His presence.

This is more than a gathering.
This is kingdom family.
This is legacy.
This is the representation of heaven we get to carry on earth!!

Jesus, have Your way in us and through us, for our daughters, our mothers, and every generation to come. 🙏❤️ this is a deep cry of my heart!!

august 🤍

this month held so much.

some really beautiful moments, some really hard ones, and a lot of reminders of how quickly life can change.

the spokane complex fires will definitely be one of those moments in life i don’t think any of us will forget. so much changed in such a short amount of time, and i think it made a lot of us look at home, our neighbors, our community, and the ordinary things a little differently.

there were days that felt scary and heavy, and i know for so many families in our community, that heaviness looks very different and continues long after the smoke clears.

but even in the middle of it, God was so present.

new friendships were made. our neighborhood became something really special, and i feel like we were reminded what it truly means to be a neighbor. checking in, showing up, helping where we could, and caring for each other in ways i hope we never forget.

i’m ending august extra grateful for the ordinary things i can so easily rush past. home. family. work i love. people i get to do life with. another day to keep building, loving, and showing up.

thankful for what this month gave, tender toward what it took from so many, and trusting God as we step into september. 🤍

It only takes one moment for your life to change.

Human traffickers look for vulnerability, distraction, and opportunity. That’s why awareness matters. The more we understand how traffickers identify and target potential victims, the better equipped we are to protect ourselves, our families, and our communities.

june also marked the end of a chapter i’m incredibly thankful for.

thank you to the girls at @blushandbloomsalon and @hairbyluciab for welcoming me, encouraging me, and sharing this season with me. i’ll miss seeing you every week, and i’m so grateful for the memories, the laughs, and the time we had together.

My heart is so full of gratitude for my dear friend Ally @allysonroweschaffer

We were so blessed to have her with us this past Ladies Night as our ladies life group had the honor of serving the younger girls of our church. It’s our heart to walk closely with all generations together in the kingdom. My team and I have the greatest honor to serve our ladies and we do not take this ministry lightly 🤍

It was such a beautiful night of worship & prayer, fellowship, sharing a meal together, hearing the Word, responding to the Word, and coming together in united prayer.
Ally, thank you for bringing your wisdom, your heart, and your powerful testimony. You impacted so many lives in such a meaningful way. Your heart for the younger generation is truly burning, and the love you carry for women is undeniable.
The beauty, humility, strength, and passion you carry is like no other. 🔥 Thank you for being a voice in such a time as this. I truly honor you, I love you, and I cannot wait to have you back with us again. 🤍

When we intentionally share what God has done, we’re doing more than preserving stories, we’re building bridges between generations. We’re passing down the fire of God’s presence, the testimony of personal encounters, and the unshakable foundation of faith 🙏

Every testimony strengthens the next generation. Every act of discipleship pushes back the darkness. When we teach our children and those coming behind us to know the Lord, we leave less room for the enemy to sow confusion, compromise, and forgetfulness!!!

The next generation doesn’t just need our opinions, they need our testimonies. They need to know that the same God who was faithful yesterday is still faithful today and will remain faithful tomorrow !!! I personally love to hear stories of great women and men of God who walked before me. I’d rather sit at the teaching of the older generation because the weight they carry in the spirit realm. It’s the history with God, it’s the wisdom, the faith, the endurance and perseverance, during trials and tribulations! We must come back to Gods ways of teaching & discipleship! Scripture has always revealed God’s pattern, the older generation teaching, discipling, and imparting to the younger generation. This is how faith is preserved. This is how wisdom is multiplied. This is how the fire of God’s presence is passed from one generation to the next.
We don’t need less discipleship, we need more. We need older men and women who are willing to invest, mentor, and lead. We need younger men and women who are humble enough to listen, learn, and receive.
Let’s return to God’s design. Let the older generation teach. Let the younger generation learn. And together, let’s build a legacy of faith that will impact generations to come!!! The older generation carries the wisdom of experience with God, the younger generation carries the responsibility to receive it and pass it on!!
Let’s not allow the fire of faith to stop with us. Let’s pass it on.

You attract what you believe you are worth

When your sense of value is rooted in titles, achievements, possessions, or the approval of others, you often attract the wrong relationships, opportunities, and influences because your belief system is built on insecurity rather than truth!!!
But when your worth is anchored in the Lord, you stop seeking validation from external things and begin attracting what aligns with God’s purpose for your life. A wrong view of your worth leads to wrong attachments but a God centered view of your worth leads to wisdom, peace, and healthy alignment!!!
What you believe about yourself shapes what you accept into your life. Know your worth in God, and you will no longer settle for what was never meant for you in Jesus name! You are made for more dear girl, woman, you are loved beyond measure!

During a time of prayer, the Lord spoke something deeply impactful to my heart:
“Do not neglect the people I place in your path. Pay attention, because some of them are divine connections I have strategically sent your way to advance My Kingdom and bring Me glory.”
Since that moment, my perspective on relationships has changed. I have developed a greater passion for welcoming people, drawing them close, and helping others see the unique gifts and callings God has placed upon their lives. I believe that every person carries a valuable piece of God’s Kingdom puzzle. Each of us has been entrusted with gifts, experiences, and perspectives that contribute to His greater purpose!!!
What a blessing it is when we recognize and celebrate those gifts in one another. As the Spirit of God unites us, we are able to build meaningful relationships, encourage one another, and serve together more effectively. When we embrace the people God brings into our lives, we create opportunities for His Kingdom to flourish and for His glory to be revealed through genuine community.
I am deeply grateful for the divine connections God continues to orchestrate among us. May we remain attentive to the people He places in our path, recognizing that some of our greatest Kingdom assignments may come through the relationships He has intentionally provided!!!
