Kansas City brought it home from Denver. 🏅

Shoutout to our KC brewery family on the GABF 2026 podium:

🥇 Kansas City Bier Co., Winterbock
🥉 Kansas City Bier Co., Hop Spritz
🥉 Boulevard Brewing Co., Oak Aged Floral Saison
🥉 Alma Mader Brewing, Coral Crush

Every brewery in the country showed up, and our city still made the judges stop and pay attention. That's long brew days, dialed-in recipes and people who care. We see you! Cheers, homies! 🍻

This weather + open garage doors at @almamaderbrewing on SW Blvd made Saturday a little piece of heaven.

I had a half pour of the Yesterday Czech-style amber lager and the Seiso Japanese-style lager. 🍺 Never seen such cute glasses.

We’ll be rolling out beer list details of #PaleAlePalooza each week as we approach the big day.
We’ve always been all about fresh. Every beer we’re pouring at the fest will be under 2 weeks from package date - that’s pretty fresh! It’s not just about getting the beer into your glass. It’s about getting it there tasting the way it should.

There are a few additional breweries being rolled out in this announcement that we are thrilled to be pouring beers from.

Tickets on sale now. Link in bio. Let’s party! 🥳

Alma Mader Brewing — Season of Shapes, Extra Pale Ale,
Simcoe, Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin, Krush Cryo Fresh + Mosaic Cryo Fresh

Ghost Town Brewing — Polydactyl, West Coast Pale Ale,
Mosaic + Citra

Hill Farmstead Brewery — Edward, Vermont Pale Ale,
Simcoe, Chinook, Centennial + Amarillo

ISM Brewing — Quaffable at Best, American Pale Ale,
Simcoe, Mosaic + Nectaron

Ruse Brewing — Lava Light, West Coast Pale Ale,
Krush, Mosaic, Mosaic Cryo + Columbus Cryo

Russian River Brewing — Row 2, Hill 56, Simcoe Pale Ale,
Simcoe selected from the three original Simcoe-growing families in Yakima, WA

Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing — Speck, West Coast Pale Ale, 100% Mosaic

Shred Beer Company — Definitely Not an IPA!, West Coast Pale Ale, Mosaic + Nelson

Tenma Beer Project — Perpetual Rhythm, West Coast Pale Ale, The Holy Trinity: Citra, Simcoe + Mosaic

We can’t wait to hang out and crush some tasty Pale Ales with you all!

Cheers!

Thinking about brewing a rice lager? Before you build your recipe, crack open a cold one and join the conversation. We gathered perspectives from award-winning brewers on what makes a rice lager shine.

This one was pretty sweet… a month ago (better late than never for a post 😅) we got 3 medals, including best in show for small brewery size in the Best of the West - West Coast IPA competition. Not too shabby for a brewery in the Midwest who gets told they can’t make “real” west coast ipa. 🍻

Now on to GABF
