(1/2) A highlight reel of 2025. You were a great year and a rough year. Certainly ended with a bang. Ready for a healthier 2026, using all the new lessons I’ve learned.

I got to love a lot, I got to be loved a lot. I love all the time I got to spend with the people that I love.

I made a lot of mistakes this year, and I will make many more. It’s a great thing to be able to be wrong, it’s an even greater thing to learn why. I look forward to making more mistakes, and learning even more from them.

I could eat a dozen oysters every single day and not be upset about it. Similarly, I look at this oyster Muses shoe from @almostprecisely and am equally pleased because she’s just perfect. 🤩 🦪 👠

The Krewe of Muses is an all-female Mardi Gras krewe in New Orleans that has greatly influenced many, including the culture of Mardi Gras. Inspired by the nine Muses of Greek mythology, the krewe’s first parade rolled in 2001. 🎊
Muses is known for its night-time Uptown parade, satirical floats, philanthropic work, and the hand-decorated Muses shoe, a popular throw, which we were so graciously gifted by @almostprecisely 🥰Thank you, Holly, for honoring us with such a meaningful gift. 🙏

A late (well, not Mardi Gras time late) but heartfelt thank you for this spectacularly beautiful and appropriate Muses shoe from the creative @almostprecisely - I am guessing SOMEONE told her about my love of umbrella drinks (@loreleiashe )

What a lovely gift from Muses and one of my favorite people, @almostprecisely Holly Sheib!! I taught her son Will from kindergarten through fifth grade, and now he is a dancer with the Grand Rapids Ballet. Holly made these shoes in his honor. I still have a Christmas ornament he gave to me in first grade. These are the moments when I just love being a New Orleanian. Thank you Holly! We really miss having you in our community.
