Come for an Autumnal October walk round the main gardens at @alnwickgarden and what caught my eye.
I was super impressed with Alnwick, i was dubious as i thought it would be overly commercialised and not something i would enjoy...but actually i was pleasantly surprised, and some of the planting was really interesting along with their commitment to encouraging wildlife.

📚💜 P R O U D T O B E M E 📚 🌈

Happy #bookstagram 📖 this week I’ve been embracing neurodivergent self-help books 🧠✨along with fictional novels featuring neurodivergent characters ✍🏻 for this #proudtobeme conference organized by @splintergroupnorth which is a social group for neurodiverse young adults with learning disabilities 🌟 By reading these books 📚 they help us to understand ourselves a little better, recognise our strengths, embrace our differences 💪🏻

That’s why the Proud to Be Me conference means so much to everyone at SpLinter Group 🌟 It’s an opportunity to celebrate neurodivergent identities, listen to lived experiences, share ideas, and work towards a world where people are understood, included, and supported to be themselves 🫶🏻

We are sooo grateful to have an opportunity to discover these amazing 🤩 books 📚 as we now have a new understanding of neurodiversity along with different mental health conditions as well 😌 understanding different is good 🌿 It’s great that we have the opportunity to find the right book which enables you to find the words for you to share your lived experience ✍🏻 Sometimes, hearing someone else’s story reminds you that you’re not alone.

Please share 🌟 And sometimes, the most empowering thing you can do is simply give yourself permission to be YOU 🧸

Let’s go!! Vamos 🍃 Have a great week 🫶🏻

Magical afternoon autumn light at @alnwickgarden 🌿 ✨

Sometimes it’s not the grand features that catch your eye, the way the stunning afternoon sunlight filtered through the gardens on this afternoon took my breath away.

I spent some time wandering around The Alnwick Garden recently, capturing some of those smaller moments that are so easy to walk past. As a photographer I’m obsessed with capturing light and shadow and this location is the perfect place for it. A tranquil afternoon spent just enjoying nature and taking in the beauty of the gardens something I highly recommend for a calming way to spend your day.

There’s something lovely about seeing somewhere familiar in a completely different light, especially as the seasons begin to change. A little reminder to slow down and look around next time you visit.

SPOOKYDOREI 🎃👻🕷️

AD - @lilidoreialnwick has turned all spooky for the October half term 😱 We had the best time on Sunday taking part in the spooky trails & trick or treating around the village. There were lots of fun games and other bits to take part in too & not to forget it's the home of the world's tallest play structure 🥳!

Yesterday we went for a tour of the Poison garden at @alnwickgarden . I was surprised at how many common garden plants were in there! Very interesting and anecdotal and lots of ideas ...so be careful....i am now educated on how to accidentally poison you! 🤣🙈🤦‍♀️
