I went to my old universities Grad Ex for the first time in 6 years this past weekend eith my wife. A lot of great work on display. This was Grad Ex 110 for OCADU. I graduated 8 years ago now. Feels like a long time ago.
.
There were 3 that stood out to me most which I’ve included multiple photos of each and then there were some honourable mentions I’ve included single photos of. I am biased tho because I myself am a painter but I appreciate craftsmanship when I see it which is why the 2nd exhibit I’ve included is a stop motion set. I’ve always loved stop motion (especially those old dinosaur films) one day it would be cool to do a small one as a passion project. Maybe when I’m old and retired haha. The first one were really cool paintings I’ve included a little blurb by the artist and the 3rd are great meme paintings. Everything else just caught my eye. Enjoy!
.
I’ll most likely go again next year. Might as well make use of a free exhibition at one of the biggest art universities in North America.
