Was looking through some Denali pics from June 2024… On our way down we made a 18.5 hour push from 17K camp back out to the airfield to catch a flight out to Talkeetna. The sun never truly sets this time of year so we were treated to these amazing colors reflecting on the clouds and nearby peaks. Combined with the lack of sleep and the cold it was a little bit of a hallucination and a truly special walk in the mountains. (I looked at the photo timestamp and these were taken at 3:30AM) We got back to the airfield and crushed some beers and Doritos at 8am before our flight out. #denali

MANASLU 2026- A SEASON TO REMEBER

Nature had the final word, but the strength of our team stood strong. We are back home safely, filled with gratitude, memories, and deep respect for the mountain. Until next time, Manaslu. 🙏

I FINALY CLIMBED MOUNT BAKER THIS SUMMER! 🏔️

Last year I attempted climbing Mount Baker but had to turn around due to bad weather. This year I had a great team and weather and we made it all the way to the top.

I love going on these mountaineering adventures where I get to fully understand my husbands job and see firsthand what he gets to do all summer long.

Maybe I will start thinking about my next objective for next summer… maybe Mount Rainier 👀, we will see!?

Here are some pictures of my trip with @alpineascents

And ofcourse I did not go on this adventure without bringing my Kula Cloth, THE original reusable pee cloth!

DO YOU WANT A KULA CLOTH?

Team Alpine Ascents posing after a really tough walk through the gorge, dodging landslides and helping each other along. Muddy and tired, but we made it! Looking at this waterfall, every step was totally worth it. On our way back to KTM now!

One last trip for the season in the North Cascades! Squeezed a very narrow gap in the weather to get Shuksan (twice in a week) again. Only this crew of alpine crushers could have done it! Made it back to the parking lot as the rain got started. This isn’t the last for these two….. @alpineascents

Wrapped up another guiding season in Washington! As always, I’m left feeling pretty lucky to have such a cool job, work with the exceptional humans of @alpineascents, and get to poke the 24 spikes on my feet into the glaciers of Tahoma and Kulshan over and over and over again! 🦔
