Wednesday was one for the books!.

Commemorating the International Day of Parliamentarism 2026 with the Nigerian Youth Parliament was both fulfilling and insightful.

Grateful to everyone who showed up, contributed, supported and made the day memorable.

The work continues..

Highlights from the LMI-NALTF & National Youth Policy Dialogue held on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026. 🇳🇬✨

The dialogue brought together youth leaders, policymakers and stakeholders to discuss practical strategies for strengthening the implementation of the National Youth Policy and advancing meaningful youth inclusion in governance and national development. 🤝💡

At the heart of the conversation was a shared commitment to moving from policy discussions to measurable impact for young Nigerians across the country. 🌍🔥

The Nigerian Youth Parliament remains committed to promoting youth participation, leadership and policy-driven development for a better Nigeria.

On Wednesday, 6th May, I had the privilege of participating in the National Youth Policy Dialogue Series at the National Assembly alongside key stakeholders, policymakers, development partners and young leaders committed to shaping the future of youth development in Nigeria. For us at the Nigerian Youth Parliament, under the leadership of Aliyu Idris Zakari, this process goes beyond attendance or representation. It reflects months of intentional work, research, stakeholder engagement, difficult conversations and a shared commitment towards strengthening a National Youth Policy that truly speaks to the realities, aspirations and future of young Nigerians. One thing remains clear: don’t discuss the youth without the youth at the table.

For me and my friends, our passion for this process is rooted in lived realities.

The journey toward inclusive and youth driven development continues, and I remain proud to contribute to conversations and actions that move us closer to the Nigeria young people deserve.
