[CANON – Classic] Giving in

It had become a small, casual tradition for the Jonin to gather at Yozoru’s place for a few drinks. It was a chance to unwind after missions, catch up with friends and enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed atmosphere. Yet beneath the easy laughter and familiar routine, there had always been an unspoken tension between Minari and Yozoru. Fleeting touches, shared laughter, and lingering eye contact seemed to say more than either of them were willing to admit. For a long time, they carefully danced around whatever existed between them. That changed one evening when everyone else had finally left, and Minari made the bold move to stay behind. It was all the confirmation Yozoru needed to know that the interest between them was mutual.

What began that night as a casual fling would soon develop into something far more complicated.

$|| KojiKiyo - First Impressions || (Founding Era) 🐈‍⬛🎐 At first, Kiyouka found Koji difficult to read. He barely spoke, avoided conversation whenever possible, and answered even the simplest questions with short, almost dismissive replies. Their first mission together left her slightly embarrassed after her attempts to make conversation were met with cold indifference. She quietly assumed he simply didn’t enjoy her company—or perhaps wasn’t particularly fond of people in general. Her opinion changed the moment he threw himself in front of her without a second thought to shield her from an attack. After she treated his injuries, the distant Uchiha she’d met seemed almost embarrassed by his earlier behavior, apologizing more than once and making a genuine effort to be kinder to her. Seeing that gentle, considerate side of him made Kiyouka realize there was far more to Koji than his cold exterior. And, though she’d never admit it so easily... it certainly didn’t hurt that he was a very handsome man. On the other hand, Koji had never really cared about Kiyouka before their first mission, he only knew her from afar— by appearance and rumours. He heard that she was a kind soul and warm to people; probably the strongest medic ninja of her era next to the Hokage’s wife; someone who’s technically unreachable. During their first mission, he tried to keep himself distant, just like he always did, but that didn’t stop her from getting closer; which was frustrating. She seemed stubborn and intrusive at first; but later he understood, it was just her trying to get along with him. And as time passed by, he started noticing that what was said about her was not just rumours. I decided to join the wonderful @always.multitasking shipping contest with Silas. Drawing Silas here was a real joy, and I'd like to thank @not_multitasking for that – your beautiful base makes Silas look so great.

A little about Silas:
Silas is a man who deeply respects, understands, and cares for women. He does this selflessly, out of respect for them. He is a fashion designer, knowledgeable in the art of fashion and the creation of various creations, but as he himself says, even his most beautiful fashion creations mean nothing if they hang on a mannequin. It is people who give his creations their soul, especially women. He treats every woman with great respect and values every woman greatly. If he were in a relationship, Silas would see only his beloved—he would do anything for her. She would be the most important person to him, someone truly important to him, someone he would love, help, support, and never allow her to be harmed, either mentally or physically. Of course, no one is perfect, but if he were to have any disagreements or arguments with his partner, he would prefer to simply talk it out with her. He values conversation in a relationship because, in his opinion, it's a crucial element. If he ever felt irritated or angry, he would never transfer these negative emotions onto his partner; he would deal with them himself, because his partner's comfort would be paramount to him.

I decided to draw my comfort ships — ships that hold a special place in my heart 🤍🫶 Drawing them really helped me tremendously when I wasn't feeling well mentally. When I started drawing my comfort ships, with each subsequent sketch, the bad mental feeling and stress melted away until it finally disappeared completely ❤️‍🩹 Drawing them truly calms me and brings me joy 🫶 I'm wholeheartedly grateful to the creators of these wonderful ships for creating them, because I truly adore them with all my heart 🤍🛐 They're such a welcome escape from the turmoil of other drawings. Thank you, my dears 🤍🫂

I hope the creators of these ships enjoy these drawings 🤍🥹 I also hope I'll be able to draw them again someday, because drawing them really calms and makes me happy 🤍🥰
