Sapphic Poetry Night 🫂🫧

i dont know where to start. like was that even real? did i actually get a bunch of fruity niggas to eat from a fruit bowl and share poetry?

We always see “wheres the functions?” “Where are the safe spaces?” RIGHT HERE, we make the spaces. It takes alot to curate and facilitate a function but it really takes the participants. I can hold space, create an intention but it takes someone sharing the space for it to mean something more. So i wanna give a big thanks to everyone who came out last night and like genuinely thank yall so much for making this come to life.

Much much gratitude to everyone who brought something, even if it was just a listening ear. Thank you to everyone who felt comfortable enough to share, it was beautiful.

lets do this again…soon? Like july??? As in we will be making this as consistent as possible. Thank you all for allowing me to hold space and hype me up, i love this so much. Chicago queers need this. We need every space, please keep sharing, please keep coming.
