Thank you @fictioncoded for the tag! 🫶🥹

I finally got around to doing my 4x4 challenge! I've tagged some Booksta babes in this challenge (no pressure!)

The last slide where I chose 4 favourites from the past year was a TOUGH one! I'm sure there were others I missed out that I just couldn't remember!

Have fun! 💜

Sooo many of the girls at work are encouraging me to read ACOTAR and the likes but I’m just not a fantasy gal however a promise is a promise so I will at some point get round to it 🫣😂

In the meantime I thought I’d ease myself in with Legends and Lattes and actually….I really enjoyed it!

Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t full of spicy shapeshifting faeries, wolves, dragons etc however it did have mystical, magical characters with a good story line where we follow the life of Viv the Orc who decides to hang up her sword in search of new beginnings in the form of a coffee shop (where no one has even heard of coffee let alone tried it!) and on her journey she finds a crew of quirky, wonderful, unique characters who soon become her chosen family. It felt like a cosy, autumnal hug in a mug kind of story, perfect with a cup of coffee (tea in my case!) & a pastry! 🥐 ☕️

What book last pushed you out of your comfort genres?

At the start of the year I decided not to do a 26 books in ‘26 because I’m such a mood reader and found that each time I did one I never fancied reading what I’d chosen 🙈
However I did do a ‘my most anticipated books of 2026’ and I’ve actually done pretty well with them, just one more to tick off!
I have LOVED each of these books so so much 💕
Have you read any - what was your favourite??

Y’all understood the assignment. 👏📚💕

Battle of the Bookstores won The Great Book-Off… and apparently I need to trust y’all with my TBR more often. 😂

Was it predictable? Yep.
Did I care? Absolutely not.

Bookstores + banter + romance + major You’ve Got Mail vibes = I was perfectly happy here. ☕️📖

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Now the real question…
Do we need ROUND TWO of The Great Book-Off?! 👀

Because my TBR is absolutely big enough to throw another eight books into the arena. 😂 @alibradybooks #caffeinechaosandchapters #battleofthebookstores #thegreatbookoff #voters #bookstagram

Let's build the ultimate picnic blanket! 👇

🏷️ #thebookishpicnic #bookstagramcommunity #bookishshoutout #readingcommunity #bookishfriends A picnic blanket layout featuring a hand holding an open book, a pink sunhat, and a red soda can. Centered on a white textured paper overlay is the title "The Bookish Picnic" in orange font, followed by text: "Today I want to highlight some amazing bookish accounts that bring so much joy to my feed! Make sure to give them some love." Eleven bookish accounts are tagged in the image.
