🥸Q:Tilt lens. What can you do with it?

🥸A: 1. Changing the depth of field: Tilting the lens can make the imaging plane of the camera no longer parallel to the object plane, but present a certain tilt angle. In this way, the light rays formed by the camera lens will show different focus points on the imaging plane, resulting in differences in depth of field and focus. A Tilt lens can make certain objects or parts of a scene sharper while others appear blurred, thereby accentuating the importance of thematic elements.
2. Correct perspective: tilting the lens can correct the perspective distortion of buildings or other vertical objects in the photo, making these objects appear more three-dimensional and natural in the photo without tilting or deformation.
3. Create perspectives: Tilting the lens can create special perspectives and picture effects, such as overlooking, bird's-eye view, close-up, etc., thus presenting a distinctive photographic effect.

Had a blast with many FujiFanboys with our first ever midweek photowalk. Here is a little video to share. Video film with X-H2 + XF10-24mm or XF23mm F1.4 LM. A @zhiyun_tech crane M3 gimbal was also used.

City Vibes Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia.

Fancy yourself driving a yellow car?

Arising from a momentary impulse decided to shoot only yellow cars during my street photography.

The yellow colour symbolises happiness, hope and spontaneity.

Woodville Mansion, built to resemble a French château, is an elegant mansion along Northam Road in George Town, Penang. It was designed by Joseph Charles Miller in 1925 for the late Lim Lean Teng, a successful businessman and millionaire.

Lim Lean Teng is best remembered as the founder of Han Chiang School in Penang.
