Oh me oh my! September was a FULL one!! Five workshops, one live printing event, one market with @honeydew.keepsakes at @coastalhousevintage, a few product drops, and a whole lot of life in between that! Being this tired has never been so rewarding!

I only have 2 workshops in October but they’re both fun ones! Visit @coastalhousevintage and @printstpete for tickets!

A big thank you to everyone who makes paying my bills with this little business possible!

TEAM APPRECIATION POST 🫶 I had an incredible surprise birthday celebration in large part thanks to this team.

Then I left town for a trip and they covered the shop needs allowing me to fully enjoy myself stress free.

THEN I started the process of moving home after almost a full two years of rebuilding and needed to be away from the shop yet again…

This crew not only keeps things moving in store, they care for me and they care for each other.

I’m so very grateful for every moment they give to Coastal House, and more importantly, I’m beyond thrilled to have each of them in my life. 🤎

My birthday isn’t til Tuesday, but last night was perfection. Big shoutout to @gmackcreativeco for capturing the night so beautifully and for @funsizedphoto.co and all my creative girlies who made it all come together.

I couldn’t ask for more than to be celebrated by friends, family, and friends that have become family at my favorite place. 🤎 Heading into 40 feeling so very grateful.

Side note: Do we need to open up Coastal House for event rentals cause I’m not sure she’s ever looked cuter…

100 workouts isn’t necessarily the big achievement - it’s the keeping of promises that I made to myself, showing up when I didn’t want to, and heading into a new decade feeling strong af 💪

Thanks @outdoorgroupfitness fam for the support, motivation, and for helping me find my strength again.

And special shoutout to the ultimate hype girl, @alyanthony_ 🙌 you the real mvp

Umm I guess July was really that girl 👀 as a business, I hosted 3 workshops, moved into my own pottery studio space, did one live printing event, was part of and released 3 collabs, started a new collab, started a new business with my sweetie Kara, dropped new products at @coastalhousevintage and continued to wrestle with my website 🥹

As a human outside of more love, I continued to love being a therapist and got to see clients in person for the first time in two years, continued to grieve and continued to heal, laughed and cried with my friends, celebrated another trip around the sun, spent a week resting in Oregon all while trying to keep my head above water with some help from the inner circle 🫶🏻

It’s not all rainbows and butterflies but it’s pretty dang close.

The past 2 years has been filled with some of the hardest seasons (hurricane, rebuilding, small business, marriage, kids…just all the things) and Coastal House and the community it’s created has literally carried me through. 🤎

From craft nights in the shop and text threads filled with photos of our recent bead finds to people pulling our ruined belongs from our home and providing resources to our rebuilding dilemmas, this community is unmatched.

To top it all off, this weekend my family, after months of disappointment after disappointment, will spend a weekend in the nicest hotel room we’ll probably ever step foot in all thanks to someone in this community saying, “maybe I can help”.

I didn’t find an affordable and available airbnb for my daughter’s birthday celebration. Instead, @wyndham_cwb is gifting us a weekend stay in their Presidential Suite! 🙌 (Literal tears of joy were cried.)

Night one is for our little family to take a breath. Night two gives my girl her dream sleepover birthday party… with intercostal views & a gulf front balcony.

We may not be back in our house yet, but goodness this community is home. 🫶
