The last couple of years have been one hell of a ride. Just when I think I’ve got my footing, life throws another curveball and I’m left sitting here like… WTF is actually going on? What even is my life at this point? 😂 Just out here trying to roll with the punches and figure it all out as I go. Because honestly, WTF 🫠

A little Thanksgiving reminder to pause and appreciate what we have. 🤎🍂

Life isn’t always easy, and the past few years have been full of unexpected twists, lessons, and growth. But today, I’m choosing to focus on what matters most.

My children, my family, my friends, the people who love me, the blessings that continue to come, and even the hard moments that have helped shape who I am.

There is so much to be thankful for, even when life doesn’t go according to plan.

Wishing you all a Thanksgiving filled with love, gratitude, and little moments that mean everything. 🤍

Some seasons of life feel heavier than we expected. The kind where you’re doing your best, but still wondering when things will finally feel a little easier.

I’m learning that maybe I don’t need to understand every part of it right now. Maybe I just need to keep moving gently, take things one day at a time, and trust that the hard moments won’t last forever.

Here’s to giving ourselves a little more grace, a little more patience, and believing that softer days are coming. 🤍

Sometimes you just need to take some time for yourself. ❤️ To slow down, breathe, relax and recharge.

Tonight we’re celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival, one of the most meaningful holidays in Chinese culture. 🥮

I love that this holiday is centred around something so simple but so important: family, togetherness and making time to come together.

The festival falls on the 15th day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar, when the moon is traditionally at its fullest and brightest. The full moon represents reunion and completeness, which is why families often gather for a meal, share mooncakes and spend time admiring the moon together.

For me, I think that’s what makes traditions so special. They give us a reason to slow down, learn about where traditions come from, and create memories with the people we love.

Wishing everyone celebrating a very happy Mid-Autumn Festival. 🌕✨

One of our favourite little adventures this summer was Victoria Butterfly Gardens! We spent the afternoon wandering around looking at all the butterflies flying around us, flamingos, turtles, frogs, birds, koi fish and SO many creepy crawlies.

The kids were on a mission to find every single bug and animal they could, and I loved watching their excitement around every corner.

Definitely adding this to our Vancouver Island summer favourites!

As an actor, there are always going to be days where you get in your head and convince yourself you completely tanked a callback.

You replay your choices constantly in your mind. Every little moment you wish you could do differently.

And then you remind yourself… you don’t get to control what happens after you walk out of the room. You can only show up, do your best, and leave it there.

Some auditions lead to a booking. Some don’t. Some surprise you.

Now, if only I could convince my brain of that part. 🤣

If you know me, you KNOW how much I love my @bluejays ⚾️

And somehow, here we are again… right in the middle of another playoff race. After the absolute roller coaster that was last season and getting to experience that World Series ride, I’m so ready!

There’s just something about being a Jays fan. The highs, the heartbreak, the late nights, the “PLEASE JUST GET ONE MORE OUT” moments… and then celebrating like we personally won the game. 😂

We’re SO close to that final Wild Card spot, and after everything this team has been through, I’m holding onto every bit of hope. 💙

Last year was unforgettable. Now let’s see if we can make a little more history.

LET’S GO BLUE JAYS! 🍁💙

Saw this rainbow over the water on the ferry from Victoria to Vancouver 🌈🌊

Honestly, how incredible is this? It’s crazy the things you get to see when you’re just going about your day. Feeling pretty lucky to live somewhere this beautiful. ❤️
