Morning Live with yours truly 👩🏽‍🤝‍👩🏼, SAI HLE.

Friday morning we woke up early and made our way to the Morning Live studio on @sabc2, and it was such a beautiful way to start the day. Thank you @sakina_kamwendo for having us. Sitting down with you felt like chatting with a friend over coffee. You made us feel so at ease, and we loved every minute of the conversation.

Getting to perform KHULA for everyone tuning in at home was really special. There’s something about singing to the country first thing in the morning that hits differently. We hope we brought a little warmth into your living rooms and kitchens as you got ready for the day. 🌞🌅

To the whole @officialmorninglive team, thank you.

Growing up, our mornings sounded like Morning Live. We’d be rushing around getting ready for school, looking for socks and finishing breakfast, while our parents had the TV on in the background. Never in a million years did we imagine that one day we’d be on that very screen, singing into someone else’s morning. Performing KHULA on that stage felt like a full circle moment. It’s a song about growing, and standing there we could feel every version of ourselves, from those two little girls in school uniform to who we are today. To every family that had us on in the background on Friday, thank you for letting us be part of your morning. KHULA nathi. 👧🏾👧🏼🌱✨

702 Unplugged with yours truly 👩🏽‍🤝‍👩🏼 SAI HLE.

Our second time being on 702 Unplugged, and it felt really good to be back. We got to catch up with @relebogile, chat, laugh and just enjoy the moment. It was one of those spaces that felt easy and familiar.

Performing with @daevmartian as our DJ was so special. This was our second performance together, and we’re really loving the synergy we’re building on stage. Thank you, Dave, for all the work you put in to make sure we’re comfortable and connected. Here’s to many more. 🫶🏾

To everyone in the studio, thank you. To the people who made sure we looked good on camera and sounded good, the little notes during BTs rehearsal, the compliments and all the kindness in between, we noticed it all. We’re so grateful.

A special thank you to our management for always helping us establish, rearrange and execute the vision. We really appreciate you @iindman. Shout out @rr.meezy for being Tlhap’s mini assistant 🤭

Watching this performance back took us right back to our early days in music, singing at bars around Braamfontein and Maboneng. It reminded us of where we started and how much this journey has grown.

Have a look at our performance on YouTube. Link in Bio 🤍
