One wedding tip we wish every couple knew before booking their entertainment. 🪩

Booking an incredible band or DJ is only half the equation. The technical production behind them is just as important.

Before confirming your entertainment, make sure you’ve considered the sound system, stage requirements, lighting and power supply. Not every venue is equipped to accommodate a live performance, especially outdoors.

And don’t forget your first dance! The right lighting and perfectly timed effects can make all the difference.

At LIT Events, we work closely with your planner, venue and artists to make sure every technical detail is covered.

Getting married on the Costa del Sol? Let’s talk production. ✨

Gabriella & Jonathan 12.09.26
A beautiful setting for a truly beautiful celebration…

The stunning Château de la Couronne was the setting for Gabriella & Jonathan’s wedding, and it was such a pleasure to create the wedding cake they had dreamed of for their special day.

Six elegant tiers, a timeless ivory finish and a beautiful cascade of fresh flowers, carefully brought together to create a cake as romantic as its surroundings.

There is something so special about seeing a creation come to life, and even more so when it becomes part of such an unforgettable celebration.

A heartfelt thank you to Wei-Ting from @amali.studios for these absolutely gorgeous photographs. You captured every detail so beautifully, and I’m truly grateful to have these wonderful images of my work.

A special thank you also to Charlotte from @charlottemarette_fleurs for providing such beautiful flowers. They were the perfect finishing touch, bringing softness, romance and elegance to the cake.

And of course, thank you to Jess at @doruleteevents and all the wonderful suppliers who helped bring this beautiful celebration to life.

Wishing Gabriella & Jonathan a lifetime of love and happiness!

Earlier this autumn, Gabriella and Jon married at the renowned Château de la Couronne, on the border of the Charente and the Dordogne in southwest France.

The morning began with the groomsmen around the pool table, a bit of Dutch courage in hand. Over in the bridal suite, shots were doing the rounds while the final touches were applied to the bride’s hair and makeup.

Then something quieter: a father seeing his daughter as a bride for the very first time. An elegant ceremony followed, and a picture-perfect first kiss at the end of the aisle, with the château’s grounds laid out in exact symmetry behind them.

Champagne was poured beside draped tables and bunches of green grapes. And a little later, dinner was laid on a single long table in the courtyard, with chandeliers hung along its whole length. They came on at golden hour, warm and low, just as the light started to fade.

A second, bigger entrance marked the start of the party as the newlyweds stepped out onto the dance floor. The evening was fuelled by tequila and French fries, and topped off with a tall white cake, tier on tier, with pale peach flowers spilling down the side.

One of my favourite things about a destination wedding is that the celebrations can stretch beyond the wedding day itself. There’s time to settle in, catch up with friends and family, and share those little moments that make the whole experience so special.

A welcome evening is a lovely way to bring everyone together, and Isola Beach Club, a venue I’ve been partnering with for many years, offers the perfect backdrop for sunset aperitivo and antipasti.

I’m so looking forward to returning next year for another beautiful welcome event by the sea. 🤍
