Today we had the honor of hosting a truly inspiring visit: Amanda Barnes @amanda_wine MW(@southamericawineguide), the most influential wine voice in South America and newly minted Master of Wine (MW). She was able to completely disconnect and relieve the tension of her constant travels with our signature massage, Mukti Mukta®️.

Amanda Barnes MW
is a highly celebrated British wine writer, presenter, and critic who is globally recognized as the leading authority on South American wine. Originally from Hampshire, England, she relocated to Mendoza, Argentina, in 2009. In 2025, she achieved the elite milestone of becoming a Master of Wine (MW), making history as the first woman to earn this prestigious qualification while residing in South America.

Award-Winning Author: She is the creator of The South America Wine Guide, a definitive, multi-award-winning book and digital guide covering the terroirs of Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, Bolivia, and Peru.

An incredible list of writers whose words are put into a really beautiful book that rewards deep reading or, as in my case, keeping on the kitchen table and dipping in and out of, sometimes while cooking with greasy hands. These are pages just opened at random; so much information and insight written with such alacrity and put together so well, plus THE most gorgeous cover.

Wine is never just about what’s in the glass. 🍷 It’s about place, people, culture and the stories behind it. We loved welcoming @amanda_wine to Bunbury for the Miami finale of this South American wine journey, sharing incredible wines, conversation, food and @southamericawineguide with our community. From the wines to the empanadas, this was South America around the table. Amanda, thank you for bringing your knowledge, your stories and your passion into our home.

BUNBURY this week 🍷 After seven cities across six states, a journey celebrating South American wine across the U.S. made its final stop here in Miami — at Bunbury. We had the pleasure of welcoming @amanda_wine and @whatsarahdrinks into our house, together with @southamericawineguide and @fiftyonenorthhq , bringing Miami’s wine community together for an afternoon of incredible wines, stories, food and conversation. For the past 12 years, Argentine wine culture has been part of the story we’ve been building at Bunbury, which made hosting this experience especially meaningful to us. Amanda & Sarah — thank you for trusting our house and sharing this moment with our community. ❤️ From South America to Miami.
