CREATIVE LEADERSHIP: OUR CALLING & THE ART OF HOLDING SPACE

Amanda ElArja
Psychologist & Expressive Arts Therapist – Palestinian 🇵🇸

🌍 As part of the International Expressive Arts Festival 2026 – Online Program

📅 October 10th 2026
🕒 From 05:00 PM till 07:00 PM (Cairo Time, GMT+3)
💻 In-person

What does it mean to lead from our calling rather than from a prescribed role?

This experiential workshop invites participants into a creative exploration of leadership as an embodied and relational practice. Through expressive arts, movement, guided reflection, and embodied awareness, we will explore our calling, creative leadership, and the art of creating meaningful spaces where others can feel seen, heard, and supported to access their own wisdom.

Together, we will explore how creativity can expand the way we lead, how the body can guide our presence, and what supports us to remain grounded and resilient when holding space becomes challenging.

Participants will be invited to discover their own leadership qualities, resources, and ways of serving what matters, while reflecting on the quality of leadership they want to embody and carry into their lives.

This workshop is an invitation to discover rather than perform, and to experience leadership as a creative practice of presence, relationship, and service.

Just a friendly reminder 🤗

Reposting some examples of how israel uses animal rights as a moral shield, when in actuality, it is very anti-vegan, on every level.

Check out the last slide to debunk the racist false claim that “there are no vegan Palestinians” 💚

🌸The Wild Palestinian Cyclamen flower as Inspiration: Blooming in Rocky Soil

🗓️October 6th,⏰ 1-3 pm Cairo Time
🌐Online Workshop via Zoom

Guided by this year’s theme Honoring the Roots, Blossoming into the Future, this expressive arts therapy workshop inspired by the Palestinian cyclamen, rooted in resilience, blossoming with hope. Through movement, art, and storytelling we’ll explore cultural roots, release stories, and plant seeds for renewal.

The cyclamen mirrors the Palestinian spirit: enduring hardship, yet blooming with love and dignity. Healing is not erasing wounds, but transforming them into creativity and hope. No art experience needed, just an open heart.

✨ Amanda, Palestinian Psychologist & Expressive Arts Therapist, Regional Coordinator (India) for IEATA. She works internationally with communities and professionals, dedicated to collective healing, peacebuilding, and holistic wellbeing.
