💖 SHA Annual Conference 2026

Last week I started the conference learning from Dr. @cjglickman about Somatic Healing! I learned new practical techniques I could immediately implement and walked away with a deeper understanding of how embodiment supports healing, connection, and s//xual wellbeing.

I met up with my colleagues and fellow panelists on the pink glitter step-and-repeat: @redcheeksnoshame, @llogandavis, @amandakrue, and @theshelbyterrell!

🥪 Had the BEST lunch at @levendelico with @llogandavis!!! 😋

🥃 Drinks with the gals to celebrate being in Denver, speaking on multiple panels, and learning from so many s//xperts!

🙏🏻 Thank you @itsmichellemk and @heathermcpherson_ for bringing so many insanely smart, talented, good people in the same room! So honored to be included!

Last week we wrapped one of my most ambitious projects to date. From military jeeps, vehicle stunts and rooftop sniper setups to special effects and unique locations- COMES A SOLDIER covered the whole gambit.

Thank you to the entire team that made these shoot days possible, as well as those that donated to the project through our fiscal sponsorship. As we move ahead into editing and the finishing stages, I humbly ask that we can still use your support. If you’ve not done so and you’d be interested in contributing a tax-deductible donation to an arts foundation before the end of the year, please consider our project.

All contributions help to enhance the production value and support the talent of this film, and I’m so honored and appreciative of the support we’ve already seen. There’s still a long road ahead, but the film is shot, and we’re ready to start putting it all together. Premiere soon to come! 🎬✨

September was a glimpse into the future.

Some doors to the city had closed, others in the hudson valley had opened.

I saw myself through more intense weeks between life and the job, and thankful for the friends and family that were there along the way.

I got to bring my nyc and hudson valley communities closer together. I produced a concert, a love letter to Newburgh that supported my people - community leaders, small business owners, creatives, friends.

Through the summer and into the fall, I have seen the effect I have on everything I do. Working alongside some amazing people, who see the same opportunities and potential that I do, we are going to accomplish wonders.

The year is 2026, Newburgh is Beautiful, and I'm going to spend the rest of my life here.

Onto October, and The Adventures that await, ❤️.

FALCON PHOENIX - A 40ft mural created for Burning Man 2026.

Part 2 of my Burning Man story...

This year I had the immense privilege of creating this 40ft mural on a shipping container for our home on the playa, Mystic.

The Falcon Phoenix began as an idea months before we reached the desert, inspired by this year’s Burning Man theme, Axis Mundi, the ancient idea of a sacred axis connecting earth and sky, the human and divine, the known and unknown -- She felt like the perfect creature for that theme.

The phoenix carries transformation, death and rebirth, what we release and what can emerge from the ashes of an old life. Something that many of us experience at Burning Man, especially through the ritual of the Temple burn, one of the largest collective fire rituals on the planet. From the flames, the falcon brings vision, perspective and the ability to rise above and see further.

Together, the Falcon Phoenix became a symbol of that threshold between what has been and what is still becoming. Something that felt particularly potent for me this year, with so much in my own life transforming.

I spent the week before the Burn in Reno painting her before we transported the container out to Black Rock City. After months of imagining her, seeing those wings stretched across Mystic in the dust was pretty fucking magical.

And she didn’t come to life alone. So much gratitude to everyone who helped fund, paint, transport, install, problem-solve and bring this enormous bird into the world. And especially to my incredible assistant @amandakrue and @mystic.arts.foundation who helped fundraise and supported the project from idea to playa. ❤️

The vision now is to take her off the wall and into three dimensions: a monumental, immersive sculpture where light, sound and people become part of the work.

This mural feels like the first incarnation.

🔥 🪶 ✨✨✨✨

Mid Summer.

What a rush.

Hours, Days, Weeks; all blended together.

I helped welcome the world into our home.

I got to be in the room with some pretty cool people as we protected our home, seeing it through everything from the world cup to a knicks championship with storms and parades mixed in for good measure.

I got to celebrate, mourn, and fight alongside my friends.

It was a Powerful July. A month of generational moments, tied together by goodwill and the power of friendship.

Onto August. There are so many more things to do and so many more memories to make with the people I love.
