We don’t always play favorites… 🌻

…but when the ceremony looks like a wildflower meadow and ends with a full-on sprint down the aisle, it gets real hard not to. 🌼💛

Our Nowruz Haftseen design is featured in @voguemagazine !!

Thank you @aaminasdfghjkl for this beautiful feature and @thekateowen for the stunning photography ✨

We’re so grateful to have partnered with an incredible group of Iranian women to bring this meaningful Persian New Year celebration to life at @jeanslafayette . Thank you @c.ykitchen @sarvishahbazi @alexandraniakani @laileetaghdisi @ddniakani for trusting us with the Haftseen design. It was an honor to be part of such a special collaboration.

Nowruz, meaning “new day” in Persian, marks the arrival of spring and the Persian New Year. At its center is the Haft-Seen, a spread of seven symbolic elements beginning with the letter “S”, where heritage, symbolism, and beauty come together to celebrate renewal.

This year’s design explores the balance within this centuries-old tradition: honoring the past while allowing it to feel contemporary and expressive, balancing abundance with restraint, and symbolism with aesthetics. I wanted this year’s Haftseen to feel both rooted in tradition and alive in the present moment.

Growing up in Iran, gathering and hosting have always been central to our culture. That perspective continues to shape my work, creating spaces where people come together, and where florals bring warmth, intention, and connection.

Collaborating with other Iranian women made this project especially meaningful at a time when community feels more important than ever. Nowruz remains a unifying celebration and a reminder that renewal is constant, and hope endures.

There is nothing quite like NYC’s flower community, but outside of chance encounters on 28th Street, we rarely get to properly connect. That’s why three flower friends - Molly (@brownstonebotanical), Leyla (@lilyfetedesign), and Amanda (@amandapantz ) - have created Flower Hour - a floral community happy hour!

Join us for our first Flower Hour on Monday, January 27th from 5-8 PM at Izzy Rose in Clinton Hill. Whether you’re a freelance designer, event florist, flower farmer, flower wholesaler, retail shop owner, or just getting started on your flower journey - this one is for you! No agenda, no pressure - just good drinks, good company, and a chance to connect with others in NYC’s floral community. We hope to see you there and bring your flower friends too - the more the merrier! Questions? Reach out to: Molly @brownstonebotanical, Leyla @lilyfetedesign or Amanda @amandapantz
