Let’s talk about balance — I don’t think it exists, or that it is what life is about. Yet, for so long, I thought balance would be the answer to all my woes. We hear about it in articles and get advice on how to find it, yet ‘balance’ remains elusive.

Now, after years of thinking something was wrong with my approach on life, I do not desire balance. I desire acceptance of the ebbs and flows, changes, and shifting priorities. I desire finding what fulfills me in the moment and following that calling. I crave the unapologetic self-love and awareness to do exactly what my soul is magnetized to.

My parents think I am nuts sometimes because I have visions that I act upon, with fervor and passion. I go FULL in with my intuition and goals. It’s just who I am. Most of the time, I want to constantly work because work is what I love.

I always felt so at war with myself when I attempted to create a ‘perfect balance’ between every thing, or person, that demanded my attention. Now, I give my energy in equal amounts to what my passion requires and to what I feel needs it at the time. There are always “sacrifices”, but in my perspective, I am 100% okay with that — and I feel so much healthier for it.

I know what I want and I’m going to live it. I know I speak for B on this too.
