I think we’ve found our new favorite Peruvian spot in DC. 🤤

We actually didn’t think we’d make it but after a long drive and some serious attempts to make up for lost time, we made our 8:15pm reservation..to the minute!

And thankfully we did because ohh babyy we were hungry and ready for some good food — and @amazoniadc_ delivered ten fold. 🤌🏼

Shout out to our wonderful server, Chris J.! He made our night truly magical!

Food & Wine has named America’s Best New Chefs annually since 1988. The very first class included chefs who would go on to transform the restaurant world: Thomas Keller, Daniel Boulud, Rick Bayless and Hubert Keller. The accolade has helped to propel the careers of many others since, including Nobu Matsuhisa, Tom Colicchio, David Chang, Anita Lo, David Bouley, Nancy Silverton, Grant Achatz, Kwame Onwuachi, and more.

Amazonia has been on my DC list for way too long and it absolutely lived up to my expectations 🌴 Between the Peruvian food, pisco cocktails, and the gorgeous jungle-like space, the whole night was such a vibe. I genuinely loved everything we ordered and would 100% go back.
