OUR SEASON 6 CREW! 💖🔥

17 incredible bartenders stepped up for Speed Rack Cayman Prelims this year, and we couldn't be prouder of every single one of them.

Whether it was their first time competing or they're already a familiar face at Speed Rack, they all brought their skills, their personalities and plenty of heart to the stage.

We had such an incredible night at The Bird, and these are the people who made it happen.

So here's a little love for all 17 of our Season 6 competitors. Make sure you say hello next time you see them behind the bar! 🍸💖

Our Season 6 crew — we love you! 🔥

Big news from Sandbar! 🍸🎉

Our very own bartender, Kelsey, has officially made it to the Speed Rack Finals!

Even better, the finals will be held right here at Sandbar, all in support of raising funds and awareness for breast cancer initiatives in the Cayman Islands. 💗

Come out, cheer Kelsey on, enjoy the action, and support an important cause in our community.
Thursday, November 12th 7:30pm

Congratulations, Kelsey — we’re proud of you! 🥂

It takes a village to build a Speed Rack. 💖🔥

You see the bartenders on stage, but there’s a whole crew behind the scenes making sure Speed Rack actually happens!

Some of our team for the prelims
@elitecocktails and @whiskeypaysthebills keeping the bars stocked, reset and ready for the next round.
@billycorduroy on the mic keeping the whole thing moving and music is always en pointe. 🎤
@urusai_nz behind the screens making sure all the tech runs properly..stressful!
Jo bringing the creative magic and making everything look like Speed Rack. 💖
And @deannfbv + @nikocon93 holding down merch and helping us raise those all-important dollars for @bcfcayman

They carry boxes. They sell shirts. They fix things. They find things. They move things. They get handed jobs that definitely weren't in the original job description!
And somehow, every year, they come back.
Speed Rack Cayman genuinely couldn't happen without them.
So before Season 6 gets underway on Monday, a little love for the people behind the people behind the bar. 💖

Four cocktails. Four judges. One drink each. 👀🍸
Every one of our judges has been given a cocktail for the night — and they'll be tasting that same drink from every competitor who hits the Speed Rack stage. They’ll be watching for speed, accuracy and some seriously good drinks as our Season 6 bartenders race for their place in the Top 8.

💖 Amba — Hanky Panky
Speed Rack Cayman organiser, chief wrangler and returning judge for Season 6. After six years, she knows exactly how fast these bartenders can move — and this year she’ll be keeping a VERY close eye on those Hanky Pankys.
And yes, ignore the Cosmo in the photo. Apparently past Amba didn’t know what future Amba would be judging.

🍸 Aurora — Cosmopolitan
A Speed Rack supporter from the very beginning and an absolute weapon when it comes to speed behind the bar. She’s trained and encouraged plenty of bartenders over the years — now she gets to put our Season 6 crew to the test

🍋 Benji — Lynchburg Lemonade
Our 2026 Cayman World Class winner, who knows a thing or two about performing under pressure — especially after finishing his own World Class season with a speed round. Seems only fair we put him on the other side of the bar this time.

🥃 Jim — Godfather
Frankly, if anyone was going to be handed The Godfather, it had to be Jim.

Being fast is only half the battle. Your drink still has to be GOOD. 🔥
See you Monday, September 28 at The Bird. 💖🔥

ONE WEEK TO GO! 🔥💖

Speed Rack Cayman Season 6 is almost here and we cannot WAIT to do this all over again.

Our bartenders have their four cocktails and they're practising hard. Next Monday they'll step behind the bar at The Bird and race against the clock for one of eight places in the Finals.

Prelims is genuinely one of our favourite nights of the year. Incredible bartenders, plenty of cocktails and a room full of people cheering them on as they give it everything they've got. 💖

Join us Monday, September 28 from 8PM at The Bird and help us cheer our Season 6 crew all the way to the Top 8.

And, as always, we're doing it all in support of the Cayman Islands Breast Cancer Foundation. 🎀

See you next Monday! 🔥🍸
