A year ago I got placed with random roommates in a random room that I had to share. Little did I know that would lead to the best year of my life.🥲 Thank you for everything Freshman Year, I wouldn’t change one bit of it.

‘Tis the damn season for my favorite night of December - my annual Merry Swiftmas party! I started this tradition 3 years ago in the height of @taylorswift’s Eras Tour frenzy and invited all my best Swifties, including my daughters and their friends, and the rule is you can bring a guest but they gotta love our girl Taylor with their whole hearts. 💕 Some years that includes wee ones in elementary school and this year it included Steve, a 76-year-old who first learned about Taylor Swift when she was named @time magazine’s Person of The Year. Newly widowed, he was fascinated and intrigued by her interview, researched more about her, took himself to her last Eras Tour show in Vancouver BC and became friends with @thefatarchaeologist at a TS dance party @knitboise 🪩

We wore our favorite TS merch and did Swiftie Speed Dating (a 5 minute ⏰ get to know you round robin) and ate and drank and played TS bingo and guess the song by the emoji and painted and had the most fun at our TS gift exchange, where people’s creativity and kindness always fills my heart. (My gift was Betty’s Garden themed 🌺 🌱 🪵)

I hid 13 tiny Taylor’s around my house for a scavenger hunt and made some fun decorations, including gifts from years past, and we talked about all the important things (how long have you been a fan? Did you watch the docuseries last night? What is your fave song off TLOAS? Where do you think Taylor & @killatrav will get married? 👰‍♀️ And of course alll the theories about what is currently happening with 💿 Rep and Debut ****they’re on deck!) When I tell you being a TS fan is one of the greatest joys of my life I will show you my party reels as a case in point (except I lost all the others from years past when Instagram & Facebook deleted my accounts this year 😭).

Merry Swiftmas to all! 💃🏽

Wild West Summerfest 25’
I had so much fun this week, and I am so grateful that i could help out with the photo work for the big wrap-up conference. I can’t believe there’s only 3 weeks left of this amazing journey, I’ve loved every second of it and cherish the friendships and connections I’ve made so far <3

Edited in my take on DC’s signature black and white style - keep your eyes tuned on the @drakecooperadvertising page for more to possibly come :)
