an august update that never made it out of the drafts 🤪 better late than never! the 2024 season was one for the books. we expanded our space and grew more than ever before! and the minimal pest and disease pressure was the cherry on top. ✨ fall is already here — stay tuned to see what’s growing @thecedarmeadow! 👩🏾‍🌾👨🏼‍🌾

homemade pickles are a sure sign of summer @thecedarmeadow. 🥒🌞

rave reviews include “the tastiest, crunchiest pickle i’ve ever had’” and more. we’re at that point in the season when the garden is bursting, picking upwards of 7 cucumbers (& so much more 🤪) each morning. friends, you’ll be stocked all season long. 🫂 you know who you are!

we’re thinking it’s time for these to make their farmer’s market debut. 👩🏾‍🌾👨🏼‍🌾 what do you think?

tried our luck with garlic last fall — fast forward to today and we’ve got a pretty decent harvest! these bulbs are now curing in a dark, well-ventilated place for a few weeks before moving straight into the pantry 🍽️

garlic is one of the more interesting crops to grow as they can take up to 9 months to mature in our zone.🤰🏾it may take a while to grow, but it repays that debt by storing extremely well and lasting you til the next growing season! 🧄
