And sure, it’s common to ask “Why is this happening to me? What did I do to deserve this?”

But what if … it’s not WHAT happened TO YOU..

What if … it’s what’s happening FOR YOU?

What if, instead of looking at the loss, the heartbreak, the struggle as an event meant to punish you, to moments that are building you.

Building you into the very version you’re destined to be.
Building you into the version you deserve to be all along.

Change the definition of the event.
And turn it into something you can use to build you, instead of breaking you.

It was never the wrong choice.
It was simply a choice.

A choice that’s made you better.

Be blessed today, because you’re worthy to be.

If you feel like calling to go do something you should probably go do it life is so short before we know it it's over yet it can be so exciting and so exhilarating if we just live in this moment today I want you to go and do something that makes you feel alive.

I often looked to this image when I had yet another crash. When I had been able to get out of bed to make my lunch, and that used up all of the energy my body had managed to form and I had to rest once again. When I started to feel better and did a little bit of cleaning and then I was forced to rest for the next two, three weeks (!!) before I had enough energy to do something small again. It was quite simply unbelievably ridiculous. Unbelievably ridiculous that my inability to function had been caused by my actions, my crazily over caffeinated, stress inducing life. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖. I cannot tell you how many hundreds of crashes I had. How many hundreds of setbacks. How often I felt defeated. As though my life was over. That it would always be this way. I was stuck in bed all day, with nothing but time. I'd done an amazing job of depleting the hormones that both my body and mind needed to function; I was barely hanging on in there. All but the most basic of functions had turned off. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ It's easy for me to forget those dark dark days as now I'm feeling so much better. But if you're reading this and you've suffered a crash, just hold on. Believe. Trust. Accept it, don't waste energy fighting it. Know it's temporary. It really is. You might not feel better today or tomorrow, or even next week, but you will get there. I am always here to remind you of that ❤ The sun will rise again. You are not alone in this #comebackstronger
