It’s here 🙌🏾🤍🥹
How many versions of ourselves have we become just to be loved and or accepted?
That question is the reason I wrote Doing It Scared in Love & Relationships, and today it’s officially out in the world.
Thank you for reading with me, laughing with me, and Doing It Scared right alongside me. 📖

We already talked about how real love can feel more like safety than sparks. Here’s the layer underneath that.

Sometimes what feels like instant chemistry is really just something familiar, and not in a good way.

In my new book I write about how that electricity we chase can be familiarity dressed up as destiny, and those familiarities are actually fault lines for future failed relationships.
So next time your stomach flips and your brain says “this must be it,” ask yourself: is this chemistry, or is this chaos wearing a cute outfit?

My bestie really said, “We’re celebrating YOU!” and went ALL OUT for my birthday in South Beach! 🥳🌴💕 And yes… A TIME WAS MOST DEFINITELY HAD!

But honestly, the most beautiful part of this weekend wasn’t even the celebration .....it was the LOVE. 🥹🥰♥️

Everywhere we went, we were stopped by people who wanted to say hello, take pictures, share memories, and tell us what the BGC era meant to them. It felt like a reunion I didn’t know my heart needed. 🥹❤️

Thank you to everyone who showed me love and made me feel so incredibly special. You reminded me just how blessed I am to have so much love surrounding me. This birthday will forever be one for the books. 📖✨

And to my beautiful Cookie Monster, @ambermeade… 🍪💕

You are truly one of one.

You embody what it means to live OUT LOUD. Your whimsy, your antics, your laughter, your energy — it’s all contagious and refreshing

But what makes you so special to me is your HEART.

You are intentional about loving people.
You’re quick to encourage, quick to support, and genuinely excited to see other people win....
Even strangers become friends around you because that’s just the kind of spirit you carry.

And somewhere along the way this weekend, I realized…

Maybe we’re not as bad as everybody thought. 😂🤷🏽‍♀️

Maybe we just have a few… BAD TENDENCIES. 😈🤣

Because underneath the chaos, the personalities, the antics and all the craziness, we’re two women who LOVE people and genuinely want to see everybody WIN.

I believe the universe brought us together on purpose. And I’m grateful it did.

Thank you for giving me my flowers while I’m still here to smell them. 🌸 That gesture touched a place in my heart that words really can’t explain.

I couldn’t have created a better sister if I tried.
This weekend made me feel RICH — rich in love, rich in memories, rich in friendship, and rich in LIFE. ❤️✨

I pray we continue creating memories, taking adventures, laughing until our stomachs hurt and reminding each other just how special this sisterhood really is.

It’s the sisterhood for me. Always. 💕😈 Thank you for everything 😘😘

Ghosting can make us want a person more…not because they were “that amazing” but because that UNCERTAINTY is addictive and can feed limerence.

Limerence is when the “possibility” or FANTASY VERSION of someone has a stronger hold on us than the REALITY of them. DEEP!
Drop a 👻 if this felt a little too familiar - I’ll go first!

Doing it Scared in Love & Relationships out 9/9.
