Moab 240. Not the ending any of us hoped for, but safety always has to come first. What is there to say in these 214 miles before the race org made the call to stop the race?

I love my crew. I love this community. I love this sport. I love the push itself. Thank you to all the volunteers at @destinationtrailraces and everyone who’s supported me on this journey. I gave it my all and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish this year.

I love my mom. Rest in peace—this whole year was for you 🤍

Two races down, two wins, one to go. I lost my mom a few weeks before Tahoe 200, and it’s reframed the whole mission. Running is just running, but it can be a platform for something else. So far, we’ve raised $54,605 for metastatic breast cancer research through @metavivor in honor of her. Every dollar goes to peer-reviewed research. Link in bio to contribute

I’ve been so deeply blown away by the generosity and support of this community, and am ready and ever motivated to knock the Triple Crown out of the park. Forever inspired by those who have helped me get here. It’s go time

Where do we even start now that it’s all over?, @samtsmart Quad Quad record? Women’s Trail Half training with @thenorthface_trail and partners? The @tamalpa_classic_headlands50k ? UTMB?

No time to get nostalgic, we’re keeping the momentum going with a full fall offering of events and group runs.

Theme of the week : Running!

When @mschulmano asked @timtaylor_photography and I whether we were up for crewing him as he did the UTMB Mont Blanc 100 mile Ultra, we were immediately in! Tim and I got in the Ford Explorer - so easy to drive all the way here as so many electric chargers everywhere. ⚡️

What an adventure even the crewing for the @utmbmontblanc was (let alone Matt’s ‘evening run’ … 108 miles , 33000ft of ascent across the alps over multiple days with no sleep!) You know the running is hard when the crewing was this intense! What a pleasure it was to play a very very small part in him making it to the finish line. (If you’ve read my book, you’ll know Matt is a very close adventure buddy - we met Matt on a high mountain range in remote Argentina, and have adventured together up Denali and across the High Sierras ski mountaineering. )

Huge congratulations to everyone who took part in the UTMB! And great to hang with @aaronkubala and cheer @amberthoule on - she crushed it!

It wasn’t all crewing, before and after the race, I was able to get out running too. Loving my @ospreyeurope vest - swear it made me go faster 😉

Next stop is Austria although if you’ve been following my stories, you’ll know we are a little behind schedule! 🛞

My sixth time at UTMB, and this year I made a conscious decision not to post while I was there. There was already enough noise.

These are 20 photographs showing the big moments, the quiet ones and the bits in between.

And why The Libertines? The trip started with me standing next to @peterdohertyofficial at Geneva Airport. It seemed only right.

Finish line feel 🥇

Running it in with my dad, brother, girlfriend, and friends, surrounded, propped up, and propelled forward by the people I most care about, hoping to do the same for others, expressing the will to move, the will to do, the will to be just a little bit better, give just a little bit more, get outside of yourself and push the sport forward

You’d be hard-pressed to find a better place to run than here in summer. Just chipping away…endless motivation, zero complaints.

Working on fueling for Maizy. She’s pretty hesitant to eat or drink on runs, just locked in. She loved some precision tho!

It takes a village… these efforts are possible solo but almost no one is breaking records without an amazing team behind them, and I had the best people in my corner all race.

Thank you to @mckennonwoltman for bringing the energy on the big 40-mile stretch, @hikewithpunisher for his poise and experience (and sweet van), @seanvallefuoco for his attention to detail and willingness to touch my feet, @damiankodak for bringing road shoes on power line and still slipping less than I did, @connor_rouan (and Hunter) for logistics and support, @mittenmadness for digging into my rapidly-tightening quads, Zane for surprise acai bowls, @jasonpetersphoto for immaculate photos and somehow finding himself once again giving me medical advice, and @amberthoule for just about everything. She ran a tight ship as crew chief, paced me the last 38 miles at my tiredest, and gave levels of support I didn’t even know I needed.

I couldn’t have done it without all of you. What a privilege to spend two days in the woods surrounded by friends, chatting all things life and love and what it means to push.

Lastly, huge thank you to the @destinationtrailraces volunteers, many of whom I consider friends and whose presence at the aid stations was always a big lift.

I felt truly supported every step of this race, and I am beyond grateful for what it took to get this record. Filled with a lot of love and a fire for the next two.
