Forever 18 Mini-Fest – Live Music Fundraiser

In March 2023, Amberly Lynch was lost to suicide shortly after her 18th birthday.

In response, her family and friends created Amby’s Army to raise awareness about youth mental health and suicide prevention, and to help ensure young people know support is available when they need it.

No young person should ever feel like they’re alone in their darkest moments.

The Forever 18 Mini-Fest continues Amberly’s love of music by bringing people together for a night of live performance and community support.

📍 @clancysfremantle
📅 Sunday 15 March | Doors open 5pm

Featuring live music from:
Emily Joy @emilyjoymusic
Sgt Hulka @sgt.hulka_
Shanks Pony
HDC @imsohdc

🎟 Tickets available via Oztix
📅 Event details on Facebook or via @ambys_army

Even if you can’t attend, sharing this post helps spread the word and support young people facing mental health challenges.

tonight i had the honor of photographing the first @ambys_army event. Amby’s Army is a organisation created to raise awareness about suicide prevention, created in memory of Amberly Jane Lynch. Amberly passed away on the 12th of March 2023, two months after her 18th birthday. unfortunately tonight i had a hard time taking pictures, the camera i was using was not one i was used to and i struggled getting pictures i was happy with but hopefully tomorrow i will be able to share some pictures i took. tonight was very special to me as amberly was my best friend and raising awareness about mental health and suicide is something i hold very close to my heart. i have tagged Amby’s Army’s facebook and instagram pages below, please take a moment to have a look and share her page so we can get this message out.
thank you, frances
