RUB Away the Role: Amelia Cormack

Welcome back to RUB Away the Role, our short-form conversation series exploring the transition of derolling and stepping back into yourself.

In this episode, we sit down with Australian-born powerhouse @ameliafpcormack , who just this week opened in the new Off-Broadway musical @copperfieldmusical (running through December 6th). Amelia shares how motherhood completely transformed her emotional connection to acting, unlocking a new level of honesty and vulnerability on stage.

Catch the full interview above. Do other actress-mums out there feel this exact same shift in your work? How has motherhood changed the way you connect to your characters? Let us know in the comments below!

Copperfield Opening night.

First time swinging, and it’s been so rewarding, so challenging, and so humbling. Couldn’t ask to do it with a better bunch.
