Soprano Nola Richardson @nolasoprano will be a featured soloist in the 2026 San Francisco Bach Festival, presented by American Bach Soloists, performing in two programs on August 7 and 9. Richardson will perform Bach's Mer hahn en neue Oberkeet (“Peasant Cantata”) on August 7, and Handel's Ode for St. Cecilia’s Day on August 9. The performances will take place in San Francisco, California. @americanbach Bach’s “Peasant Cantata” remains a delightful example of his ability to blend humor with musical artistry. Another thankful week in the Bay Area 🩷 All-Bach program with @americanbach, where I learned two amazing new pieces by him… discovering his music never ends…!!!
