POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🥳 Results are in for #ScattergoriesTuesday! We had 10 players this week. Very few duplicates, especially in games! And @TryWinGames continues to excel with yet another perfect score! 🤩 Here are the results (perfect score is 9):
🥇9 points — @TryWinGames 🥳
🥈8 points — @AhBoardGames Adam
🥉7 points — @60MinuteGamer, @AhBoardGames Hayley, @AmeritrashTalk, @CampingMeeple & @SmallFriesGames
6 points —@Sapphire1751
5 points — @MarkPlaysGreen
4 points — Me! 😇
▫️▫️▫️
The letters were D, E & P
🎲 Games: Everdell was the only duplicated answer, but with just 2 votes! If I had just remembered Endeavor, I could have thwarted @TryWinGames’ perfect score. 😂
🐦 Things That Fly: Egrets were most popular with 4 votes. There were a few pairs as well: eagles, pelicans & pigeons. No duplicates in D.
🌞 Summertime Foods: Nothing got more than 2 votes. Pairs were: daiquiris, eggplants, elephant ears (IYKYK & you’re probably from the Midwest), Eton mess & popsicles.

No disqualifications this week!

If you mashed up Mario Kart with cutesy little alley critters- you get Trash Dash! A fast-paced super fun racing game from @shiny_pigeon_games 🦝🤩

This game is a delight. I’m not a huge board game racing fan- because so many of them feel clunky or slow. Well folks- this game is neither of those- and it’s packed with a lot of laughs- and strategy! All the animal racers have asymmetrical abilities! (and they’re double sided so you can pick which suits your fancy!) Racers are dashing around the alley - playing cards that move themselves- scare other racers (that make the player lose the appropriate number of cards from their hand) - attacking them (moving players back the appropriate number of spaces) - or dashing! (Playing the same numerical value between two cards- rolling a die- and adding its value to the movement!!) First one to meet the lap requirement wins! 🏆• OK. So I was worried this might be too MEAN when I read words like ‘attack’ and ‘scare.’ I was wrong. These mechanics add to the zany fun Mario Kart race feel- and usually higher attacks come with lower movement (on the same card) for your racer. It creates real choices. Also- whenever racers end up on spots with symbols (whether on their or another players’ turn) they get that effect- which is another thing to think about when attacking. Also- holy schmolies- I haven’t talked about the trash cards yet! That’s the most Mario Kartness of it all! Some spots on the board allow racers to gain one trash card - and they all have fun one-time-use wild /fun powers that you can take advantage of the next turn + onwards! (Racers can only have one trash card at a time) • This game is fun- really fun. If you like Dodos Riding Dinos- this is another smash race game I highly recommend! It’s a blast- and a keeper. Setup is fast. The CPU automa is so easy to maneuver. Strong 8/10 with possibility of going up with more plays. I want to try out the possum Penelope next. 😁 (also shoutout @ameritrashtalk covering this a year or so ago - and I remember it looking fun- and it is!) #trashdash #boardgames #boardgamenight #racinggame #boardgameaddict

For #😇MerchMonday, I want to say “Thank You!” to everyone who supported my shop in 2025. Today I’m highlighting a bunch of people who shared photos of themselves (or others) wearing or using my merch — or met me at a board game con wearing one of my designs. 🤩 Your support means the world to me! 🥰

I know most of us want to save our limited budgets for actual games rather than merch, so that makes it all the more special to me when you include me in your purchasing. 🥰
▫️▫️▫️
2025 sales were actually better than 2024, but that was mostly due to the popularity of one design. Because of the purchases that were made, I was able to send some money to IRAP, @RefugeeAssistance, as part of my commitment to donating 10% of my gross income on merch sales. It’s important to me to give back, & I choose IRAP because I have customers all over the world, & I think helping people who have been displaced from their homes is the right thing to do. Plus, the US was built by immigrants, & I think we’re stronger when we welcome all with open arms. 🌎🌍🌏
🛍🛍🛍
You can order shirts from my Amazon shops in the US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain & Japan, as well as totes, throw pillows & stainless steel insulated mugs in the US. For ceramic mugs, glassware, magnets & more, go to my #Zazzle shop. Links to both shops are in my bio. If you do make a purchase, please tag me & share with the tag #BoardGameAngel. 😇
