Literally too many photos from our wedding. What a gift this life w @emilyparzy. The ritual, the wonder, the play—which is the point of it all. Could’ve done a whole post on just the hootenany, the breakfasts, the ppl who pitched in to make the weekend possible, pickup basketball, the ocean, our kids, our family, the poets, the two different types of poets at any given party, the party, the party, the party, the day after which begins every day after. Probably will still. // 📸: @mandeerae

Day 2 of the @ourhousemusicpub Queer Songwiter Retreat was recording day! I was blessed and honored to record 3 demos at the illustrious @dreamlandrecordingstudio! 🌈

What’s a beautiful reminder of my talents and gifts to be able to work a engineer and a studio that has never even heard of me and create some magic in the span of 2 hours. What an honor to witness my cohort make their magic and music. Forever grateful for the bond we shared. 💕

What’s I learned about recording day is that my talentsare REAL!! I have a gift and other people witness it and are in awe how I alchemize my visions. Eye am a musician and my pen game is untouched. 🪄

Another gorgeous day, another hot lesbian asking why I have no posts to stalk!
Went to @stargaze.festival and got to meet so many incredible artists, built the best jenga tower of my life, made some connections and missed some! I swear I spend most of my time doing comedy.

If you tried explaining last week at The Ellis, it would sound made up.

On Thursday, a former church echoed with unapologetic laughter as comedians confessed the kinds of things you’re usually supposed to keep to yourself.

By Saturday, the room belonged to live music, burlesque, drag, DJs, dancers, artists, lovers, friends, strangers, and everyone chasing that rare feeling of being exactly where they were supposed to be.

That’s the part we love most.

The Ellis isn’t built around one scene, one audience, or one idea of what a night out should be. It’s built for people who are curious enough to walk through the doors without needing to know exactly what’s waiting for them.

Thank you to every artist who trusted us with their work, every organizer who imagined something bold, and every guest who chose experience over routine.

We’ll keep making room for the unexpected.

See you soon.
