Round 2 of the CHSAA Intersectional Playoffs was another thriller of a game! The Pilots started off slow, going down 5-0 entering the 4th inning. As we started to chip away with a rbi double then a solo homer in the 5th, the 6th was yet another story book scenario for us. We were walked 4 times to bring in a run, singled to keep the bases loaded while bringing in another and capped it with a bases clearing double to take the lead. We did allow the game to get tied to go into extras but in the 8th, an RBI single then ultimately closing it out in the bottom allowed us to win against Mount and advance to the semifinals❗️ GO PILOTS⚾️✈️ #gopilots #playoffs #chsaa #baseball #highschoolbaseball

Our Semifinals matchup against St Francis Prep was a movie from start to finish❗️The Pilots started the scoring after an interception leading to a deep ball for 6 to take the early lead. After giving up 2 touchdowns to go into half down 13-6, our defense locked in, forced punts, and took an interception back for 6. In the fourth quarter, down to potentially our final down, the go ahead touchdown was caught to give us the 18-13 lead. Then came all defense as we forced a safety to but us up 7, killed the clock down, and got 4 straight stops at the 1 yard line to clinch our spot into the Championship Game this Sunday! GO PILOTS🏈✈️
