How lucky am I to have gotten to exist in the same timeline as this team?

I’m going through Quilters photos for a “cool girl photo dump”, and I just can’t curate it to be that way. This is a scrapbook of what this show was for me, and I’m too grateful to be a cynic. I got to spend days and hours with the most supportive and ego-less group of people I’ve ever come across in one room.

I had no idea what this musical was about when I said yes to this project, and upon first description I was afraid it would be one long version of the prairie scene from Waiting for Guffman. I knew it was a bluegrass score, it was a livable artistic wage, and the brilliant (not hyperbole!!! She gives the most delicious direction!!!) Amelia Fischer sold it as a tribute to the under-appreciated and thankless job of being a woman during *all of this*, and the matriarchal clusters we’ve had to find and rely on since we started walking on two legs.

Little did I know this would be the project where I was allowed and encouraged to be a mom and a leader. So much of my career post-kid has been “well you have to pick one—are you an artist or a mom” and I felt celebrated as both when I look at these photos. It’s not everyday both of your grownups are booked and blessed during the same four week overlap, but when they are, I hope the cast and crew are half as gracious as these folks. Especially when she’s expelling a demon on the conductor cam. Let’s go to it [Shania’s version]🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

What a whirlwind of a month May has been. I’m truly sad that we don’t have a show to go to tomorrow. Every. Single. Show. I was star struck by all the talent on that stage. Every single person from cast, creative team and crew was so kind and I appreciate all of them! I feel like one lucky girl to have been a part of it! Big shout out to my fav crew member @harpermonroe10 for being my biggest cheerleader and to @rawl10 for holding down the fort while he didn’t see us for the entire month😘 Mamma Mia at Woodstock Arts

she had a dream 🐚🩵✨🪩

Had to type and retype this so many times because I couldn’t stop getting emotional. I’m so grateful to say that I had the most amazing opportunity to be apart of a show/movie that has meant the world to me since I was little. And little erin would be singing the opening song as her audition song as she stepped into the world of musical theater for the first time. And she would play pretend that she was running around Greece with a journal in her hand, telling her friends that she might have the answer she needed the most.

As I’ve gotten older with acting, I lost sight of what brought me to it in the first place. I didn’t see myself being a leading lady. I kept going because that’s what people told me to do, even if I didn’t believe it in myself. And once I heard Woodstock Arts was putting on Mamma Mia, my inner child came back in an instant. But my little inner voice kept telling me that I wouldn’t get cast, my voice isn’t musical theater standard, so you can try but don’t expect anything! Last day of virtual auditions, I trusted the love that I have for this show and went for it. When I got called in for Sophie, I didn’t wanna back down from her at all and just enjoy the CHANCE that I had to be back in her shoes. The fact that @zachstolz @kt_bergs @thealexself gave me the gift of Sophie has been the greatest thing in my career and I am so grateful!!! It still feels like a dream. THANK YOU for being so supportive and trusting me with her. 🩵🩵

And the biggest thank you to the beautiful cast and crew on this project. When I say that this show was crafted from nothing but passion and love, it would be an understatement. Thank you for welcoming me with open arms and making my 2026 full of giggles and belting out ABBA songs. For being patient with me and just for everything. I LOVE Y’ALL🩵🩵🩵

My final thank you goes to my family. For nurturing my curiosity of being onstage and supporting my dream since day one. I’m so lucky. This show really hits it on the head when Sophie says to her possible dad:

“Thank YOU for the music and for giving it to me.”

Today was the day I put another history book of a show on the shelf.
Mamma Mia! closed and I hung up my disco suit one last time and said farewell to the Happy Wanderer, Bill Austin. It was a show about found family, but with a new found family of incredible actors and new friends.
Thank you again to everyone that saw us have fun and thank you to the wonderful people I spent three months in Greece with.

Closing weekend is approaching tomorrow for #mammamia at @woodstockgaarts!

I was so nervous taking on a musical again after 20 years, but this was such a FUN experience with an absolutely amazing cast.
It was a delight to bring Bill to life and create him with so much freedom from our director (@zachstolz).
Here is a sample of the inspirations I drew from for the intrepid traveler. The smoldering sex appeal of Michael Douglas in Romancing the Stone, Kirk Fogg's adventuring positive spirit, Hugh's Australian presence in Boy From Oz, and the goofiness of Alexander in Zoolander...the son of the another Mamma Mia's Bill, Stellan Skarsgård.
Also I'm sharing the soundtrack in Bill's head playing on the way to the theatre as I got ready. A mix of Australian staples, fun beats, a lot of Abba, and some Abba mixes from other genres.

There were so many more Easter Eggs I threw into the slice of beefcake, from the tattoo, the jewelry I wore each night, even the homage to our music director I snuck onto my back pack.
