House of Barbary has gone soft! Out in paperback now. With as much joy and wonder as I have in my life today, these acknowledgements hit home. 2022/24 was an awful/wild ride and this book was made possible by an entire clan of healers and whether we’re still in touch or we’ve gone our separate ways, I will always be thankful for the time you were in my life.

Now, as much as it would bring me ENORMOUS amusement to have an entire shelf of my own book I want to be sensible about these things. Any friends in the London/Cambridge area, let me know if you want one! Any excuse for a coffee and a catch up!

How did the female disciples lead from a place of wholehearted love and ‘upward’ relationships?

As Amy says, Martin touches on this in an entire section about the female disciples in Mark’s gospel in his book, No Greater Life.

Amy spends her time championing women leaders with @kyrianetwork and she knows how easy it is as a leader to hit burnout when we simply try to ‘do more’.

This book breaks down those walls and encourages anyone that they’re not an afterthought but can be used in God’s kingdom through a wholehearted life.

Tired of just doing the ‘Christian’ thing? Ready to live differently?

No Greater Life by Martin Young is a book that explores what true discipleship looks like in worship, community, mission and the everyday journey of faith.

Discipleship isn’t about working harder; it’s about loving deeper.

Many of us began our walk with Jesus full of fire, only to be weighed down by religious pressure and the rules of ‘faith.’ But what if Jesus’ Greatest Commandment – to love God, others and bring that love to the world – wasn’t intended to be a chore, but a transformation of the heart?

Each chapter blends biblical teaching and hands-on tools, including Bible studies, prayer practices, journalling prompts and Lectio 365 reflections.

If you’re heading to Minehead, grab your copy at the skyline - otherwise, visit your fav Christian bookshop or grab a copy online.
