Our first UCAN clinic is done! ⛳🔥

The focus: Smash factor with the driver.

Smash factor = ball speed ÷ clubhead speed. It shows how well you transfer energy into the ball. Tour players sit around 1.48-1.50. Most amateurs are well below that, so there’s free distance on the table.

Why contact comes before speed 👇
✅ Centered strike = more ball speed from the same swing
✅ Better contact = tighter dispersion
✅ Swinging harder with poor contact usually makes things worse

We worked on finding the center of the face and simple drills you can take straight to the range. The improvement was visible within the session 👏

My first inclusive golf tournament! ⛳️

Such a brilliant day playing as a team of four in a Texas Scramble format at the picturesque @chilternforestgc 😍. Each team of four included an Adaptive golfer.

A huge thank you to @scottrichardson99 for putting together such a welcoming and inclusive event, whilst also raising money for @limbpower, a charity very close to my heart 💜

Still very new to golf and learning every time I step onto the course, but days like this are exactly why I’m loving the journey.

And a big thank you to my teammates Jill, Lee & Matt for making my first tournament one to remember! 🫶🏼

Another brilliant @nomad_golf_collective Ladies event @kilworthspringsgolfclub! 🏌️‍♀️💗

My 4th year organising it, and it’s so lovely to see the community growing, with so many new faces joining us again this year.

From coffee and bacon rolls, to putting with @zoenorthpga , some time on the range with @racheleve3 and then out onto the course for our pairs better ball competition — it was such a lovely day. Some fantastic scores too! 👏🏼

What means the most to me is knowing these events are making a positive difference and encouraging women of all abilities to get involved, meet new people and enjoy golf. ⛳️
