When we travel to Hawaii, we often find ourselves seeking out the little things that make everyday island life feel as authentic as possible.
Building connections, making friends, waking up at sunrise to surf, and grabbing breakfast at our favorite little spot 🌺

But this time, we felt the need to hop on a plane and explore a neighboring island, chasing something a little different.. one of the rarest green sand beaches in the world. A geological wonder so extraordinary that only four are known to exist on the entire planet ✨

I still don’t know how to thank this life enough.

I’m living a chapter I could have only ever dreamed of, and somehow, it’s even more beautiful and fulfilling than I ever imagined. ✦

Maybe you don’t miss summer.

Maybe you miss who you are when you’re by the sea.

That version of you who feels lighter, happier, completely alive.
I think that’s why we keep coming back.

Just a quiet little corner of peace, with nothing but the sea, nature, and slow days.

This is our second time staying here at @jimmys_villa , and we’re always welcomed with the warmest hospitality 💐

Vagator is where this beautiful little place is located, just minutes from the beach and all the local spots, yet surrounded by peace and quiet.

Goa is where the mind slows down, absorbs all the healing energy of the ocean, and gets to recharge or let loose at night, with every kind of experience you could ask for, from a cacao ceremony to dancing the night away.

Every time I travel to India, there’s always a pit stop in Goa. 🌴✨

Over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with all kinds of places, hotels, Airbnbs, and other unique stays.
But this one was truly unforgettable for me.

Everything was perfect. Without even realizing it, we happened to be there on the night of the full moon, surrounded by the incredible landscape of Joshua Tree, one of my favorite places in California.

The days were warm, while the evenings cooled down just enough to make the most of the jacuzzi and gather around the fire to keep warm. Between the warm water, the crackling fire, and the stillness of the desert at night, it created such an intimate, almost magical atmosphere.

The scent of burning wood and the raw, earthy smell of nature seemed to frame the whole experience.

It was one of those places and moments that stay with you long after you leave. 🌕

We’ve started two matching ornamental pieces on both hips, and we’ll likely have them finished by the end of the summer ✦

This project means a lot to me, it marks my return to ornamental work, and even more, it’s special because it’s for this beautiful, talented artist, a dear friend @nicolettasolinas_tattoo !!

Working on this back piece to create balance, as my client already had the left side done by another artist. We added this floral ornamental piece on the right to even things out while leaving the center open for now. I look forward to tying it all together with more ornamental work in our next session.
