The case of the Oliver Gallaugher Deep Space Blue is quite lovely; it gets the proportions and finishing exactly right. I measured it at 38mm in diameter, 43.5mm lug-to-lug, and just 9mm thick, with a 20mm lug width and a signed 5.75mm push-pull crown that is narrow but easy to grip and operate.

The case is made entirely from 904L stainless steel, but it weighs only 55g on the included strap, which makes it feel much lighter and easier to wear than you’d expect. What I like most is how much visual relief there is across what is already a slim case: the 4.5mm midcase is sharply bevelled, the polished and blasted surfaces are cleanly separated, the concave bezel pulls your attention inward and helps reduce the perceived thickness further, and the flat sapphire crystal keeps the top profile sleek.

The caseback is similarly restrained and flat, which helps the watch sit very comfortably on the wrist. A big reason this case can be this thin and balanced is the LTM5000-G inside it, a manually wound Le Temps Manufactures calibre that measures 30mm in diameter and only 3.3mm thick, giving the watch a proper high-end movement without forcing the case to become oversized or bulky.

And @olivergallaugher manages to convey plenty of dial depth and light play even with this limited real estate, which I think is a great achievement!
