Tokyo is flooded with coffee shops and coffee bars. This one is one of the OGS, in my opinion. The sweet old lady who runs it is a top brass barista. Behind her little space, she has everything she needs to deliver our delicious orders and coffees. And ever so affordable. Certainly the highlight of our trip.

The most memorable nights in Japan aren’t the ones you plan off a list.

They’re the ones someone who truly knows the city opens up for you — the meals you didn’t even know to ask for.

That’s what travel should feel like.

I think I have a weekend free in two months! How about you?!! 💀

(Okay but actually though I’m not even joking, that’s how making plans feels lately. But a weekend at @stayeverwild with @ananya.ray is always something I’ll be able to squeeze in 💕)

What month are you booking into right now? 🤣

This & no cell service please

But really there is no cell service here which very peaceful but also kinda scary when this hike is know for Grizzlies.

If you’re heading into the Rockies this season, keep these essentials in mind:

1. Always carry bear spray—and know how to use it.

2. Check trail updates on apps like AllTrails for wildlife sightings or closures due to weather or trail damage.

3. Choose a trail that matches your experience level.

4. Hike with a buddy (or two). It’s safer in bear country—and more fun, too. 🐻

((Even the gutters are spotless in Japan
While typical street gutters in Japan aren't usually this clear, what you're seeing here are specially protected canals where fish have been added to attract tourists.
However, in the Japanese countryside and smaller cities, it's not uncommon to find storm drains with koi fish and even turtles. These drains may not be as crystal clear as the one pictured, but they are clean enough to sustain aquatic life. If you're ever visiting rural Japan, save this spot, you won't regret it!))
