This woman right here made an impact on my life when I was only about 10 years old. Ms. King, at the time, but now Mrs. Thomas didn’t know that showing up as a substitute teacher would not only change her life, but the lives of many other girls just like me. The love she showed us was so genuine and comforting. She showed us what self confidence looked like everyday. She was a leader, our teacher, influencer, protector, and motivator. The list could go on and on. I am forever grateful to have been one of her first students she had to teach. She is one of many reasons why I am such a girly girl lol and also know how to carry myself as a woman. There wasn’t anything I wouldn’t do for her as many would for their favorite teacher. I was able to celebrate with her on one of many of her accomplishments as she was nominated for Business of the Year Honoree! What a blessing that was to been able to witness! I can’t thank God enough for bringing her back into my life. We definitely have genuine love for one another and that’s priceless! She is definitely stuck with me forever ❤️
