Part 1 | Number 2,398 reason I love my job: Sometimes I get to design a custom magic 8 ball and I really like that about my life. 😂🤩

Not to be broken record, but yes… you guessed it, I loved this project too! I got to jump back into conference-world and help the @useworkshop team bring signage, booklets, and the cutiest little merch item to life! Couldn’t be happier with the results!

And can we take a minute to acknowledge the photos? @and_anne Absolutely.knocked.it. out of the park. 🔥

Straddle & Paddle Day 4: we broke camp early, jonesing to ride again as the sun started to come out after a cloudy and damp couple of days. Definitely a top 10 day of riding as we ripped over rolling gravel, mud spraying everywhere making our way towards Devils Track Lake where we would camp for the night and take more lake baths. Getting closer to civilization, we craved bar food and were rewarded with local tap beers and a weekly burger special while we chased the sunset back to camp to watch it lakeside, the stars also put on a beautiful show uninhibited by clouds. 🌌

Straddle & Paddle Day 3: the only real damp day was perfect for ditching the pedals for the paddles. We rented some canoes and hit the water to do some lake hopping. The morning started very misty and surreal with viking vibes but as the day went in it cleared up for us to find tranquil beaver dams and later choppy waters. One of the best sunsets off the dock came out that evening after we warmed ourselves by the fire (keep scrolling). 🛶🌅 #bwca #canoe #minnesota #adventure #nature

Straddle & Paddle Day 2: after hearing the elusive Loon calls in the middle of the night, we were lucky to catch a couple feeding at sunrise (sound on! 🔊) I had to drive the sag wagon in the morning so I missed some gnarly single trail but we met up for lunch snacks before riding through endless forest roads from Silver Island Lake to Sawbill Lake where our canoe outfitters were located. Luckily there were plenty of provisions and libations for sale and even brief moments of WiFi to get caught up.

Straddle & Paddle Day 1: We caught an early sunrise at Gooseberry Falls before hitting the road further north, stopping only for a quick antique sale & provisions. Spirits were high as we started pedaling into the woods while watching the leaves change colors as we rode. A much needed oasis presented itself in the form of a log cabin saloon for hot food & cold drinks before arriving at our lakeside campsite. I arrived early, meeting friendly neighbors and more libations. The gang soon followed as we jumped into the tannic waters to rinse off before setting up camp and exploring the local flora. 🍄

Straddle & Padde Day 0: after a long day of driving, the crew assembled at Gooseberry Falls just north of Duluth as we basked in the sunset and soaked up Lake Superior's majesty before assembling camp for the adventures ahead.

Straddle & Paddle! The gang got up to the north shore of Minnesota to ride some of the most primo gravel available🤌🏼 A few of us broke up our schedules with hiking, sightseeing, and shuttling the support vehicles, and everyone took a day off to canoe a small portion of the Boundary Waters. Muchos gracias to @vagrantsabroad for being Trip Daddy and thoughtfully guiding our shenanigans...this is not an easy group to govern😂 And thank you, Minnesota and Lake Superior, for once again providing the nature bath we all need sometimes.

Crossed off a few things on my 30 under 30 list this weekend ✨

✔️ Hot air balloon festival
✔️ New coffee shop
✔️ Day trip to Lincoln
✔️ Mango photoshoot 🐈
✔️ Concert in NE (wellllll it was Iowa so gotta go to another one 😉)

I’ve gotten a few q’s about why I made a “30 under 30” list, and honestly… why not?

This past year has been full of change and new beginnings. I’m learning that it’s okay to slow down, enjoy the season I’m in, and be present for it. But as a goal-oriented person, I still need something to work toward!

So I made a completely random list of things I want to experience before I turn 30. Yes, even simple things like “make a snowman” are on there 😂

I want little things to look forward to, reasons to try something, and reminders to enjoy the life I’m living right now. And this is my way of doing that. 🤍
