🍕 Lunch at Midtown = pizza, lobster rolls, a variety of refreshing bevs, and catching up with pals!
🌸 Flowering Wild was as beautiful and awe-inspiring as ever ❤️
🎬 Popped by Benson Park for the first ever Movies in The Park, hosted by The Regent Theatre. Any guess which movie was playing?!
🏛️ Explored the Layered Landscape exhibit and chatted with the incredible team at the Wellington Museum.
🍺 Took in the views from Crimson Cider, post Hendrik’s BBQ, of course.
🎨 Had a firsthand experience of Vortex at ANDARA Gallery.
🍻 Enjoyed a flight of delicious brews from Dune Hopper.
🪩 We got to meet the talented team cooking up epic inclusive experiences at Neon Chapel & even got to choose a song on their retro jukebox.
🚲 We checked out the West Lake E-Bike Rentals tucked behind The Agrarian Market!
🍷 We cheersed to the 25th Anniversary of Sandbanks Estate Winery!
🔥 We visited the team at The Drake to see their new waterfront loungers and sauna space, complete with gorgeous outdoor art.
🍟 We enjoyed alll the poutine from The Tambo with the team!
🖼️ We got out to visit the wonderful galleries on the PEC Arts Trail, and saw where the magic happens at J.D. Thompson Fine Paintings!

A: Be curious, ask a lot of questions. Develop your skills, see, and think in three dimensions. It helps if you can construct things in your mind. When creating art, don’t worry about how you get to the final piece. Everyone has their own way of creating. There is no right or wrong way - just your way. Use the rules. Don’t be a prisoner to the rules. As Frank Sinatra would say “I did it my way.” Inspiration is a good thing. Learn as much as you can about other artists, and what it is that you admire about them. Be inspired by all creators - writers, dancers, sculptures, singers, and more. It’s all out there for us. Q: Fun fact about you or this piece (or both!)? A: I admire graffiti art/urban art and the complexities that can be created with lettering and images. Also, tattoo art can be incredible if done well. I try to have my art have an energy of its own, a vibration that connects with me as I create and connect with the viewer. My heart-shaped painting is simple and recognized. Love, like this heart painting, has many facets. The colours work in harmony as well as with complementary friction, just like love.
