@andersonsmartialarts in New York 🗽🥋

Had an amazing time out here teaching and sharing some jiu-jitsu. Huge thank you to everyone who showed up and supported.

I’m always grateful for the opportunity to travel, teach, and connect with people through jiu-jitsu.

One of the most complicated FMA drills I've ever done. Saw it at a Guro Dan Inosanto seminar around 2015 at Anderson's Martial Arts in NYC. Had to go back for a private class to see what was going on. My students have picked it up way faster than I did. 😊🇵🇭

VFL: Havoc on the Hudson

Eric Lee vs Batu Yildiz ⚔️

Lee and Yildiz both bring well-rounded MMA games, giving them the ability to adapt no matter where the fight goes. Whether it’s striking at range, working in the clinch, or battling on the ground, both fighters have shown they’re comfortable making adjustments as the action unfolds.

When two complete mixed martial artists meet, there are no easy predictions - just high-level exchanges and a fight that could be decided in any phase.

July 25th at the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, NJ.

Tickets available now — link in bio 🎟️🔥

45 and a mom of three, but far from done 😎Still addicted to challenging myself and choosing courage over fear. Today I met a new version of myself.
I started training Thai boxing with a world champion @anissameksen 🫣 she is pure power, grace, discipline and kindness in one. The strongest body, the strongest heart, the sweetest soul. She pulls a new kind of strength out of me and reminds me that strength has many forms.
It’s never too late to begin. Never too late to reinvent yourself.
Ballerina spirit in a fighter’s fire.
Same discipline. New arena.
New art, same soul… Thanks a billion for this amazing experience @anissameksen and @peeters_annemarie to bring us together … 🙏🏻🤍 #andersonsmartialarts #womenpower

Balintawak drill I learned at a seminar with Guro Dan Inosanto at @andersonsmartialarts in NY.... correction... I had no idea what was happening at the seminar so I booked a private class at Anderson's to go over this. Definitely recommend the program at Anderson's btw.

This was super complicated but really cool when you get the concepts. Remind me a lot of wing Chun and I could be wrong, but as I understand it... if both hands are free the stick is the primary defense, but it that hand is occupied you need to be ready to use the alive hand. In this drill you are crashing through the line of whatever gets in your way.

There is a way I started coming this with sombrada and I will get a video up soon.
