Beautiful community gathering last night led by @frameben3 We sat in group meditation, learned about the Buddhas life, and explored some of the following questions: * Where in our lives do we struggle with finding the middle path? * Are there ever benefits to straying from the middle path and experiencing the extremes in life? * How do we know when our practice on the middle path is based on truth vs avoidance? Join us every Thursday for intro to Buddhism and meditation🕊️

Amazing meditation and discussion led by Olivia last night! The topic was mudita, or sympathetic joy, one of the 4 sublime states in Buddhism. The group went through an exercise where we visualized genuine happiness at the idea of good fortune for someone we feel neutral towards, and then subsequently for someone we find challenging. A beautiful exercise that made for a great discussion. See you all next Thursday at 7pm, always free and all young adults are welcome, just show up! ❤️🙏🏻 (tunes on this post from DBT alumni @applesage )
