roasted sweet potato with whipped honey goat cheese and sage-cinnamon drizzle made with rich and buttery @becelca Chef’s Signature #becel #chefssignature

ingredients:
2 large, sweet potatoes
1/2 cup of Becel Chef’s Signature Unsalted
1 ½ cups plain goat cheese
4 tbsp honey
10 sage leaves
½ cup pecans
½ tsp cinnamon
salt

instructions:
-preheat oven to 450°F. meanwhile, cut sweet potatoes into half-moons and melt a 1/4 cup Becel Chef’s Signature.
-transfer potatoes to a sheet pan and toss with melted Becel and a generous pinch of salt. space out evenly on the tray and bake for 35 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
-while that bakes, add goat cheese and honey to a food processor and blend until smooth. Season to taste with salt, then set aside.
-in a small saucepan, melt remaining Becel Chef’s Signature on medium. once bubbling, add sage leaves, pecans and cinnamon. cook until the sage leaves crisp and turn a dark green colour.
-plate with whipped honey got cheese on the bottom, followed by crispy baked sweet potatoes and finish with the toasted cinnamon, sage and pecan Becel drizzle

We can’t even begin to tell you what an incredible thrill it is to see our personal kitchen featured in a magazine we have read cover to cover for as long as we can remember. :)

To celebrate the feature we decided to collaborate with the lovely and talented @andreamonzoni (chef, artist, content creator extraordinaire) to come and cook something delicious in our kitchen and show it off in action! Go visit her page - we love how she fuses mouth-watering recipes with art, life and how it all soulfully works together.
