She was balancing college, work, & motherhood all while her baby was in the NICU.
ㅤ
She knew she was carrying more than most students, but she also knew how important her education was to her future. Rather than putting her goals on hold, she decided to keep going with school for as long as she could.
ㅤ
Sometimes moving forward doesn't mean having everything figured out. It means taking things one step at a time & continuing toward the future you want.

Andrea was afraid that once people found out she was pregnant, everything would change.
ㅤ
Word spread quickly through her sorority, but instead of the judgment she feared, she was met with kindness, encouragement, & support. The people around her reminded her that she didn't have to walk through an unexpected pregnancy alone.
ㅤ
Her story is a beautiful reminder that sometimes the support we fear we won't receive is waiting for us on the other side of simply sharing our story.

Yes, you can enjoy meals out and make progress when you know how to build them strategically.

I ordered sashimi because it’s a lean protein source. When it comes to sushi, I usually suggest getting sauce on the side, asking for light rice, and avoiding fried rolls. For appetizers, I love options like seaweed salad, miso soup, or edamame since they’re lower in calories and can add fiber, nutrients, and volume to the meal.

And when your meal isn’t overly carb and fat heavy, that leaves room for a little dessert too 😉 I went to a low-calorie ice cream spot here in Austin called D’Lites.

Was amazing meeting the @ptbi_official group in Austin

Andrea never gave up. Through facing an unplanned pregnancy, debating every possible decision for her & her daughter, going back & forth from school & the NICU, & grieving her daughter’s death, she never gave up on her education. She wanted her daughter to have a mother who persevered, & she did! Andrea & her daughter’s story have & will continue to inspire others!
